It doesn't really matter *why* they believe it, as a whole. But if you have a friend who is Catholic you could ask them what they PERSONALLY believe about it. But just do it, like SHARING with each other what you believe. Not fighting.
People aren't CONVINCED to join our Church... they FEEL it. That's why we give out copies of the Book of Mormon instead of just making everyone read A Marvelous Work and a Wonder.
