So, here's an idea:
Messenger Group
Everyone who wants to participate must have Windows live / MSN Messenger. Just post your e-mail address, and everyone else participating in the thread will add you, or you can add them. That way, everyone participating would form a "messenger group", where you can chat it up about Japanese to anyone else participating.
I think this is a great way to get a lot of the guild socializing, and we can even have events and such: lessons with multi-way conversations, Japanese Chatting sessions, Study groups, Testing/Quizzes, Contests, etc.
I'll start with my e-mail: Jozef_lewitzky@hotmail.com

The group is just this thread and the combined adding of all members of it in order to keep in contact. Nothing special really.
Well, I shouldn't say nothing special. I'll try to explain in detail:
So, everyone joining the "group" just posts their e-mail in the thread. Once a new e-mail is posted, that person adds every e-mail in the thread to their msn contacts.
Then, you can message people in the group and talk about Japanese or whatever else and form friendships with people in the group.
If this works out, we could even have group events/projects, as stated in the first post.

can we start an MSN chat when we're all online so that we can practice together? :0 that's the idea, basically when anyone is online, you can chat it up with them. Once we have a good base of members ( 6-10+) I'll try to set up some regular events that we can do together. Of course, anyone can set up any sort of event on their own as well biggrin .

I just started learning Japanese so I am not very good at it. It would be be very helpful to be able to practice with someone and help correct me, since there isn't a formal class avaliable where I live.
