[ Following the adventurous Fourth Child ] When he had been but a whelp, starting his 'grand adventure!' with his older brother by his side, he was told one special line by the elder son, something he would take entirely too seriously. IF you ever GET LOST, STAY PUT. I'll find you. It was pretty straight forward, and had no rule for error; he still remembered how serious this statement was, the way his elder brother's eyes narrowed both promisingly and threateningly. Then again, when it became apparent that the younger of the family couldn't read a map to save his life, it was an asset that the older knew about his whereabouts at all times, and thus, he wore bells wherever he went.
But once again, it was being proven apparent that he listened to every word of that statement. The moment he found himself on this strange and curious little part of the world, he scored the mountain side until he hit a little cave, where he and the peculiar creature named Ichigoki had made 'home' until the fateful day that his brother were to find him again. The bells he normally wore hung on a wire he had scrounged up from the local commute, the wind slowly blowing them to life, the sound singing through the clearing. The Astral Born, though..
On a large rock that served as a wonderfully soft table, head using a large deep crimson red map as a makeshift pillow, was the one named Adrian, dreaming of things to be and things that had, his long tendrils of duel-shaded hair flowing willingfully with the wind that danced with the music his charms had created for it. He had spent the last few days ferverously searching the starcharts for any inkling of where he was, or where others could be. The idea of turning another year older without family was horrible, but something threw interference into the chart, which only made the search even more futile.
He felt like he was in a desert, all alone without sanctuary - his dreams were his escapes from his solitude.

The normal green mist accompanied the airborne kitsu as she continued on her way. At least she had everything this time. The previous time she had left the ground, her pouch had been left dangling from a tree along with other things she kept on her person. She seemed to forget one thing after another on her almost futile journey home. She certainly wasn't in a hurry but it would be nice to see what was left of her family considering that her parents and siblings actually believed it was her. What would her father say if she suddenly showed up on their doorstep asking to come home?
She was still stuck in this strange, out of the way world. Why couldn't she find her way home? She figured it couldn't be that hard to find a large building with trees and pink blossoms but it was. Every time she thought she got closer, it would be the edge of some mountain and she'd have to quickly swoop away to avoid a collision. A map would have been nice but it wasn't like she could actually decipher a map of any kind from around here unless it had a small red 'x' where her home was situated and she could just follow until she found the obvious landmarks that she could recognize.
Not as easy as it looked.
Not to mention the fact that she as growing more and more tired. Her wings had been outstretched for the greater part of the day without stopping or rest. A mountain would've been nice at that moment. Somewhere she could just curl up and sleep on for a little while. She closed her eyes for a moment, thinking about what to do until she heard something.
Bells?
What could possibly make such a material sound in the middle of no where. Opening her eyes up a smidge, Quo saw the object of her desires. A mountain! She could probably find a nice ledge and rest for a while until she figure out what to do. Plus, it seemed that's where the sound was coming from anyway. She fluttered her wings, propelling herself closer and closer to the ledge she had pointed out. Of course, she wasn't the best at finding her mark. She could hit it but never to gracefully. Once again she misjudged the distance and once again she smashed the top of her head against the side.
Letting out a shriek, the kitsu dropped to the ledge, rubbing her the top of her head to make sure she was still in one piece. "Ow...ow...ow..." She'd never run into a wall before and god did it hurt!

To any other Kitsusagi, it would have been a crash that sent them worrying as to if the crasher in question was either allright, or not as dangerous and harmful to their being as they kept imagining it were. But to the sleeping 'beauty' of the rock, it was almost like a thunderous roar.
With almost a lightning quick speed, his eyes shot open and his head rocketted off his suddenly very uncomfortable looking 'bed', his neck stiffening almost immediately from the strain of the strange position, but unfortunately for it, his attention was towards the sky. Everything came from the sky, he mused somewhere internally, his saucer like green eyes darting upward as his neck and back groaned softly, reminding him that YES, his head was still attached to us, so, please stop moving for a moment.
Squinting sharply suddenly, he started to get aggrivated with the lack of movement thereafter the sudden crash - it was a sunny day, not a cloud in the sky, and surely he hadn't been dreaming any thunderous weather recently. As his ears twitched for any lick of sound, he cracked open his maw, and a voice that sometimes he even regarded as 'one that nearly didn't sound like his own' croaked out into the sudden emptiness, showing his distaste for being woken up so abruptly. Especially by a certain feral older Kitsusagi.
"Thomas James! If this is a joke I swear I'll come out there an--" he managed to force out before the fur raising screech broke the silence around him, sending him into a shock, one that was rare and unknown to the little astral born. It took him a few more moments to grow some courage once more to set forth, his groggy mind suddenly cleared. At first, all he could think of was "What a remarkable set of pipes whoever that was has..." but as he started to tentatively walk towards the area in which it came from, the idea evolved into a familiar one. "I've heard that voice before."
"A-Are you okay, out there?" he finally mustered up, closing in on the intruders haven. Bravery, he admitted, was his brother's job, he was the smart one.
