i'd say either Nearer my God to Thee or I know my redemer lives (the long awesome one, not the short one; i know that my redemer lives, what joy this sweet sentance gives! he lives he lives who once was dead....ect ect)

If you could Hie to Kolob.
The words are so beautiful and the meaning that they give. Plus a song written in a minor key just haunts you and causes such great emotion all on its own even without the words.
It is by far my favorite hymn.

I agree about If you could Hie to Kolab, I've always loved that hymn. I also love the pioneer hymns like The Spirit of God. Suu-san, I know that My Redeemer Lives always has special meaning to me. Me and a friend sang it after the testimony meeting at EFY one year. It was awesome!

"Ring Out Wild Bells" is my favorite musically. For lyrics, I'd have to go with "Be Still My Soul".
