I miss the old Richard.
Though I have to admit the jealous displays of both Richard and Anita are fantastic when they see the other with another romantic prospect. Mmm. For instance, Richard's passionate anger towards Nathaniel in Anita's kitchen in NIC. Yum.
However, this new Richard - the whiny, pissy, self-loathing, self-pitying, confusing, and ignorant Richard - makes me want to tear my hair out. I almost, just almost, had a "Yay!" moment when he climbed into Anita's bed with she and her men. Ah, yeah, so much for high hopes.
He needs to get off his high horse and out of his pity hole. The day is bright and he's screwing it all up.
