Hullo, my name is Coral. I come from Quebec Canada. I am a 23 yr old journalist and novelist. When I am not using my computer for writing, then I am usually on Gaia. I decided to join a guild or two or meet some of the interesting characters on here.

Yo, I'm Drayal, I have actually been a member of this guild for... I have no idea how long, but I've been busy, and only now have I got back on Gaia. I prefer not to give out info about myself, so don't ask. I have a guild (or two), it's called Drayal's Literate Fantasy RP guild, and Evoria. Evoria's a dead guild, and will probably be for all of eternity. However, my other guild is up and running, if you want to join. I would like to ask, where do I start RPing, and how active this guild is. biggrin

You should look up the Village sub-forum for the official introduction thread in case you want to see other member's intros and/or post a more detailed one about yourself. 3nodding Nice to have you here. I hope you find some of our ideas enlightening. You can find most of them at the writer's Circle sub-forum and at the sci-fi corner sub-forum. I posted some cool ideas for new inventions there but not just me, there are other members who have posted theirs in case you are interested. Hey Drayal! Long time no see dude. Hello! My username is kitty868theonly. I've just been accepted into the guild today (I think applying only a few hours before); I'm glad to be on board! I consider myself more as a writer then as a RP type. I RP, but not so much (I think I'm average at it). For this guild, I will mostly write- whether they be short stories or full length ones. They will, of course, mostly stay within the fantasy genre. I can't wait to post them up here! I'll try my best to be active as much as possible and to offer suggestions! You'll see my posts soon! And once again, thanks for having me on board! ======================== After looking around for awhile, I have a question... A few, actually... 1) Are short stories/micro-fiction allowed here?My Reason for this Q.: I usually prefer to make full length/series stories. But, sometimes, I come up with these ideas that would be better to just be a few paragraphs long. In other words, a short story. I want to make a single topic featuring any short stories that I write. That way, they will be easy to find. Micro-fiction is a different thing; might as well be called drabbles... But, there are times when I feel like writing something that short as well... 2) Do all types of literature that is posted here HAS to be fantasy? If yes, which is what I think the answer is, can you define what fantasy is for me? I DO know what is fantasy and what isn't, but I want to be clear about this.My Reason for this Q.: Not everything that I'll come up with will strictly be in the fantasy realm. Especially if I'm going to be writing short stories that can't really be labeled... Do I prefer fantasy? Yes. But, I want to make sure that I expand to other areas as well. Areas that I consider to not be that good at. In order to be good in other areas, I must write it. 3) Will the Guild F.A.Q. be updated/fixed?My Reason for this Q.: When I first came here, I tried to figure out what each sub-forum would be about just by entering and reading the first topic and/or announcement... But... There are times that I am confused on what each one has in it... So, I tried the Guild F.A.Q... And, I can see that it hasn't been updated when things were changed/added... I would like this fixed. Not just for new members, but to remind any 'old' members that came, gone, and came again but forgot what each forum was about. I think it would be a good idea. I appreciate it if any of these questions could be answered. Especially (1) and (2); I can't post until I am positive of those.

Hi Kitty! Nice to have you around. I'm also quite average at RPing so don't feel bad. I can't wait to see you active here as I do try but because of work, I can't be here very often. I do try to visit at least once a week though.
To answer your questions:
1. Yes we do have a sci-fi sub-forum in which you can post stuff like that.
2. I believe you could post pretty much anything you want at the writer's sub-forum as we now have pretty much a lot of discussions and stuff going on there. For me, fantasy has to deal with things that don't exist in our world. Things that can mostly be dreamed of and stuff like that. I don't know what else to say in such short notice but you get the idea, he-he.
3. As for this one, I might be able to update it for you but I don't know. I rarely get the time to be here so if you're gonna be active then I could make the time to update it for you. What's the point in coming here and do stuff for members if they're not gonna be active to begin with, right?
