She was confused. "Why do you need to dream about that? There's plenty of unclaimed land, or land that could be shared. Heck! I've got more land available to me than I know what to do with, you could even settle here! It's not hard, you just have to find a nice cave, make it all cozy, and voila! A home!"
She didn't mean to belittle his dream or anything, she just couldn't understand why a home seemed like an unobtainable thing to him.

"I don't know about darkness and all that, but I do know that if you make friends and settle with them, then you won't be alone. If you never stay in one place, you don't have time to make friends, so then you would be alone."
It all seemed very straight-forward to her, but then she was a very straight-forward kind of Kylan. If you were with people that you liked, then by definition you were not alone.
Then again, given how jumpy he had been when they first met, maybe he was too shy to make many friends, of had had bad experience in the Kylan he had encountered before.

"That would be nice....but making friends whom you can trust is difficult..and even then, there is many problems that I have had enough with dealing...." He looked away from her for a moment. "I don't expect anyone to understand." He looked at sky. "....Besides, I think I do have a home....I am just not able to stay there as long as you can in yours..."

Nezumi looked confused for a moment, then her face brightened. "Oh, you mean the sky! I suppose that can be a home, of a sort. Not exactly the sort you can curl up and relax in, but that doesn't matter.
It's too bad you don't feel you can trust people. How about me?" She tilted her head, looking at the winged male with complete and guileless innocence, again unaware that what she was asking was a bit too forward for most people. "You're being fairly open with me. Isn't that usually a sign of trust?"

Sebastian stared at her for a moment and nodded. "Yeah...I guess I could trust you...." He manage to give her a smile towards her. It was difficult not want to talk to her, she seem so...naive...at least about the rest of the world. "You know..you been asking all the questions..."

She looked startled. "Have I? I guess so. Sorry about that! It's your own fault, you know, for letting me go on like that. Ask!" she mock-scolded, the smile she couldn't hide making the teasing obvious.

Sebastian smirked, rearing on his back legs and pawing at the air infront of her for a moment before letting himself fall back on all four. "Its my fault now, huh?" He chuckled and looked around. "Alright then, tell me about the area..."

Nezumi was startled, but not scared, when the winged male reared up. She did not believe Sebastian was the type to harm another without reason. "Yup. All your fault. I am blameless." She grinned.
"The area, huh? Not much to tell. Like I said, I'm kinda isolated out here, so you don't see other Kylan around much. Some good caves for dens, nice clear streams, a couple of good-sized lakes, good hunting and foraging. There's some mountains that-a-way," she pointed to the east, "and the ocean is a decent ways that-a-way," she moved to point north, "but I'm sure you saw all that from the air. Did you have anything specific you wanted to know about?" She tilted her head inquisitively.
