"I'm hoping to not, actually. I have no trips planned for a long, long time." She was guided to the door while trying not to focus overlong on how nice Lenore feels. Alright, better than nice. Scandalously tempting is more like it. Behave. Behave. Behave.
When Lenore took off for the kitchen, she wanted to follow, but didn't. Giving her some space, she instead went to the sitting room. Probably making me tea. Best sit down before she comes back. Which she does, in the chair that she'd always favored as her own without a second thought.
Wait ... No, that's not right. She moves to the loveseat before Lenore returns with the mug of tea, both hands accepting it so their gloved digits brush against the pale. Blowing at the steam curling up from the brown liquid in the ceramic container, she fixes her eyes on Lenore inquiringly.
"Start with yourself, please, and what happened with your father." Might as well get to the point, right? Right.

"Well, I came back from my honeymoon," Lenore started, clasping her hands primly in her lap. "And, Kris told me what happened while I was away. Apparently, he was finally killed, but not before he killed Snape, and his little band of idiots went and killed quite a good number of the most gifted ones in our community."
She paused here, still silently grieving for those that she cared about that were gone now. She cleared her throat, and soldiered on. "While we were on our honeymoon, we went in search of a way for me to get pregnant again, because Mel and I wanted children. There wasn't anyone that had as advanced technology as the GMFC, so we needed a donor. I don't know if you met Laer, but he agreed, reluctantly, to do it. Of course, he insisted that he get to be a part of the child's life. We agreed. And, now, I am pregnant with twins. . . ."
She slumped over, putting both of her hands over her stomach. "Anyway, what about you? How did you finally find Shina?"

No comment is offered for the passing of Lenore's presumed friends, only respectful silence and a hand leaving the mug to give its leather sheathed warmth to one of Lenore's cool ones. Slim fingers seek to wrap about that hand, giving it a slight squeeze.
The silence, on the seated moon elf's end at least, continues as Lenore goes on. She listens attentively, nodding now and then. When it seems her turn to speak, she offers up a small smile beforehand.
"I did meet Laer. Briefly. I look forward to meeting him once more." And ask on his motives. Paranoid? Perhaps a little. A lot has changed, and she's trying to keep up.
She sips from her tea, and closes her eyes to sigh. Lenore had come to learn just how she liked her tea, and this cup is no exception. "Thank you. This is wonderful," she murmurs, opening those eyes to settle them on the bump Lenore is slouched over. Her hand goes from one of Lenore's to rest over them both. "They will be beautiful. Like their mother."
"Shina had managed to travel far on this plane," she answers with a touch of weariness in her tone. "She followed the call of Hoshi's spirit, and it always seemed to come from somewhere new. Many cities, many hills and valleys ... It all blurs to think on it now."
"I finally came across her in an old ruin. She claimed Hoshi was inside, locked away till she could find him. If you ask me, I suspect she'd been searching so long, she'd lost her senses." Another sigh and a shaking of her head. "But she's on her way home now. Said she would visit Sei first."
