Seer's eyes lit up and she wagged her tails. She was not one to sit on the fence about whether she considered someone a friend or not. The young phoenix squirmed free of the last tangles of bedding and trotted over to give Rune an affectionate headbutt on the shoulder. "Hi! It's nice to see you!"

Valefor shut the door behind them, chuckling softly as Seer then bounced over and threw her paws over the Aeon's back and nommed at her red ear-fluff. "So you went to talk to Miss Rune like I did?"

Valefor tapped the bottom of Seer's chin with the top of her "beak" and the younger femme returned to an all paws on the floor position. "I'm not sure if Rune was the one I went to talk to specifically, but she's the one I found. Would you like to know what we talked about?"

Seer nodded, still with enthusiasm though it was damped somewhat by her now serious countenance. Valefor looked questioningly to Rune to see if she wanted to speak first or if she wanted the Aeon to do it as Seer mumbled softly, "I don't know what to do..."

Seer's ears flicked forward and then back as she though. "I... would want him to know. How I feel. I'd want to tell him..." The words brought a spark of quiet determination to her eye, though the obvious worry was still there. "If I was sure it wouldn't make problems for him I would tell him now..."

Valefor looked sympathetically at both of the feathered females. But perhaps Rune's trepidation wasn't unfounded... it was more Valefor's place than hers to push this button on the Aeon's adopted child. "Seer... why don't you tell him? You know he won't admit his feelings otherwise. And really, you're the only one that can convince him it really is all right. Right now he's got you on a pedestal when we all know you and he both would rather he had you in his arms."

Seer's ears went back in startlement and her eyes got wide, mouth forming a little "o". For a moment at least she was too suprised by the realization of how true that statement was to say anything. She was still trying to wrap her thoughts around it. "I... how?"

"So... I should just tell him... before things get worse than just akward?" Seer had been listening intently to Rune, and seemed to be mulling it over in her mind. "Ah... the only thing... I've really though about doing... was telling him I love him and giving him a kiss. A real kiss..." She trailed off and blushed furiously.

Valefor had to chuckle. "Well he certainly couldn't mistake that, could he, sweetling? But don't worry... you can take a little time to think on it. You won't see him again until tomorrow, correct? You'll come up with something."

She peered back and forth between the two of them. "You know... I feel like a picnic. Through our door somewhere, mayhap, since it's so cloudy out. Do you have any idea how long it's been since I had girlfriends to go out and do things with? I think it would do us all some good to get our minds off our troubles for a little while. What do you say?"

Seer wagged her tails enthusiastically at the idea and Valefor laughed. "All right then! Let's see... Seer can pick the room and we'll make some sandwiches or something. Sound fair?" She let Rune make her decision on the way out the door and into the hall to go downstairs.

"We seem to eat a lot of sandwiches around here..." she mused as they reached the bottom and she opened the door to the kitchen. Seer darted toward the corner door in the front room that used to be a closet, the place where they'd decided to install their own magic door after Valefor's request a while back. She looked back at Rune with mirth in her eyes. "Knowing her it'll be a very pretty spot." Then she set about getting sandwich things and some water bottles from the fridge.
