i heard something like this before and someone made a good point.
its like a coincedence;
your listening to the radio, and you think "man, i wish the cats in the craddle was on."
then you hear bedow dow dow dowda dowda dow dow, and your like "omg awsome"...
meanwhile, it hasnt happened the other 20 times you were thinking about cats in the craddle.
if you have any influence on the weather, then in a situation simular to the one i described maby you have a miniscus influence....
that, or theory two your a lvl 48 mage.... how many seconds cast is rain?O.o

I'm thinking about changing my name to fit with my avatar... I duno. But I totally agree with the first part of your post. People naturally don't remember the times that something didn't work. Like all the times they were thinking of their best friend who didn't call a few seconds later, they forget those. They only remember the times where their friend called, and go "omg we must b psychic! Let's get married <3"
