Zhas smiled "I know they are fine." she comforted her mate. "I had been watching both of them before I left." She remembered watching Shikon hunt and Orion leave to meet a newcomer. Zhas too did trust her two sons to take care of themselves.
"The two ar eas resourceful as we are."

Tsume nodded his head slightly as he gazed up at the sky. Summer couldn't be over soon enough, but Tsume knew that once it did then things would go back to normal...or about as normal as things could be in the Barren pack-lands.
"They will make fine leaders after the both of us die," he said to his mate.

The black and white wolf nodded in agreement "Indeed they will be together with their mates when they get them in due time." Zhas told her mate. She knew she would get old and die eventually and she had to trust both her sons.

He flicked an ear at his mate's comment, but said nothing else. He knew his sons were all grown up, but something else stirred within him-the desire for a daughter. For once he wanted a blood-daughter to raise and to give away to the perfect mate.

Zhas smiled calmly and comforted her mate again with an affectionate nuzzle. “What are you thinking love?” she inquired, “What is you want?” she asked quietly. She was able to tell when her mate was thinking about something like this. It was a feeling inside she knew. Zhas licked her mate on the cheek.

Tsume resisted the urge to flinch when he felt a tongue scrape against his cheek. He gazed down at Zhas as he heard her words. Shaking his head, he gazed towards the mountains, spotting some forms moving around it. Ignoring the forms, he slowly started to answer his mate's questions. "It is nothing, my dear. Just thinking of the future of my sons, that's all." He didn't want to tell her the truth. Not quite yet. She wasn't in season yet and he doubt that she would be anytime soon.

The black and white wolf smiled "I see" she said, she knew there was something else but wouldn't push to find out. She lay her head on his stong tense shoulder and smiled contently.

Tsume knew that his mate knew that he was keeping something from her. He didn't know whether or not he should tell her. His mind was filled with many thoughts that he wanted to tell his mate, but he didn't dare tell her them. Sighing softly, he laid his head down on his forepaws and gazed up at the sky.

Zhas continued to smile softly beside her mate. When he was ready to say something she would listen. When he was ready to return home so would she. Zhas was his support and She was able to tell now was when she was needed the most to keep him from falling appart and then mend him back together.
