Wha?
Thought we were having a discussion about energy here (which is quite good, might I say! It's awesome to see people's different views), now we're having a "mystic" vs. skeptic war?
mmmmk....
Anyway, I'm going to echo some of the views on energy that have already been stated. I think there is one basic form of energy but there are many different sub forms of it. I think of energy like light. From my meager understanding of physics, colors are just different types of light (i said meager understanding xd ).
I also believe that not everyone can work with every type of energy. There is some energy that only certain beings can actively use. I also believe that people will be better with some forms of energy than with others.

ChiyuriYami Ah sorry about that small war, I kind of got annoyed by him.. If you consider that a war then you haven't been on gaia forums for that long, huh? I wouldn't even call that an argument... But in his defense skeptecism is necessary, I can tell you right now that I can fly to the moon and come back within the blink of an eye, and remove all evidence of it every happening in reality... That doesn't make it true. It means I said something which simply cannot be done by anyone known today. Without skeptecism science wouldn't exist and without science your birth would probably be a 50/50 chance of you actually surviving. If you appreciate life you should think again about skeptecism and thank it, then thank science.

I never said that saying something make it true. Saying the lion is dead doesn't kill the lion..
But I prefer to leave the doubt of truth instead of just saying, "impossible", "You are lying", "Stop saying think that can't happen" and things within those line of thoughts.
In science, people believe in a theory until someone bring up another one with proof that the older one wasn't fully correct.

Thanks to the off-topic conversation in this thread, I'm inspired to write a new one in relation to it's nature. Thanks, guys.
Edit: My opinion on Energy is that it is all the same thing, pretty much. It has different forms, yes, but I think they're all connected. I don't know how energy works as a science, though, so I can't really say if they really are connected or not.

Thanks for this, I was going to point out her flaw anyway, along the same lines except I would've told her that I have Superman's powers, and since there is no evidence to disprove it, then it must be true. ...and all the dead will know: this is Hector, fool who thought he killed Achilles.

Andiela Obscurus I say it's all the same energy, just different "flavors". Like how radio waves are all radio waves, but they have different frequencies and amplitudes, hence different radio stations. I throw my vote that ^ way. 3nodding 3nodding I will admit though, the more I work with different "flavors" the more distinct they erm...taste... to me. When I connect deeply I can feel the difference between Earth and stellar energies, but I really became a believer when I first felt and then worked with Reiki. It is SO different than energy raised through body movement or chant like witchy folk normally use. But of course I have to ask, is the energy flavored because they are different or because the human body reads them each uniquely when we become more sensitive and able to differentiate them? I think it's "flavored" because of the intention behind it and possibly because of our own personal filters. So yeah, I'd say it has to do with experience. My analogy here would be having an AM radio, but eventually buying an AM/FM, and then finally an HD or even satellite radio.
