It seemed as if he'd gained control again. Shoulders relaxed considerably. If it weren't for the interesting conversation, he'd certainly be gnawing thoughtlessly on something, anything, by now. An adult and still teething (in a manner of speaking). Sometimes he felt foolish. Shaking his head, he grinned, raising one paw in a half-shrug. "Now, I'm not quite sure you'd get along with my sisters." Especially not Nyh. What a strange conversation that would be--a back-and-forth insult contest. "We're a bit different."
Setting his paw back down, he looked a bit sheepish once more. It didn't last long, though. Cope wasn't one for being embarrassed. "Nope, never met a girl that wasn't family." Was that a bad thing? Honestly, had Soul been a female, he would've been just as likely to 'attack.' He just went with whatever gender he happened to come across. "Why, should I have?"

"Hah, please, I get along with all the ladies." Wink. Maybe even some males, but shhh, that was a secret! He couldn't help that he was so good looking. "And besides, different is good." He wondered how opposite was opposite. Considering Cope was on a spectrum that he'd never encountered before. But that would only make it all the more worth seeking and finding out.
Ears pinned off to the sides at the insult. "Never, puh." What a shame. This poor lad was missing out on so much! D: "Yes you should have! That's like the number one law of maledom!" What boy went about without a clue as to the delights of meeting girls?!? "If you don't do it, you'll get a bad reputation and be lonely forever." No way did Soul plan to do that. Not without a fight; he'd go down with a whole clan of ladies. X3

"If you say so," the younger responded, rolling his head back, playfully unconvinced. Then again, who was he to say? The world was filled with unusual things. Perhaps his sisters would prove him wrong. If so, maybe he needed to get to know his weird family a bit better before opening his mouth... No. He grinned to himself, sharp fangs poking innocently from his maw. He had to know his sisters better than that! He was pretty sure. "I'll introduce you to them sometime." A lot of the offer was an excuse to make sure he and Soul didn't part ways and never meet again.
"Number one... law?" Cope scoffed, ears flicking as he looked to the side with an incredulous expression. He wasn't the kind of male who went off looking to woo the ladies. Icy eyes watched the other again with a laughing expression. "Why don't you introduce me to some of your lady friends sometime, since I've so kindly offered to introduce my sisters? I mean, you have so many." He said, returning the earlier wink.

"Sounds good to me. Fine, it's a deal." Even if it was one sided. Here had had all to gain. Lovely ladies. And Cope....well, who knew? The kid seemed content enough wagging his tails and stalking others. XD Maybe he could get his own siblings to chat with him. His brother seemed of the....kinder nature. Enough to respect and bla bla bla....
A confident nod was Soul's answer. "Yep, the biggest law of them all." Who cared about all those other ones anyway? His fur bristled when Cope questioned his fangirls. Uhhhhh, yeah. ^_^; "Oh, my...my lady friends? Maybe." Cope didn't need to know the truth. Hell, Soul didn't even accept the truth. There....were no girls. ;_; "Araid not buddy. Wouldn't want ya stealing my lovely chicas."

"Fine, fine," the younger muttered, tossing his head as if he didn't care. Honestly, he didn't, but that didn't stop him from acting upset. "Keep your ladies to yourself, then. I can find some on my own," he assured with a pout, tails flicking. Of course, the false front didn't last long. Cope let out a laugh, eyes narrowing playfully and tails picking up a swing rather than a twitch. "I can't really call myself a male if I can't keep to the number one law without help, right?"
Anyway. Looking away momentarily, he licked at his fangs. Where was papa when he needed something soft and submissive to chew on? Shaking his head, he returned his gaze and smiled. "What else do you do for fun? Besides wooing the ladies, of course." If he was lucky, maybe he could get this one to wrestle with him. That would take his mind off things.

Soul nodded, much agreeing to the plan. Keep his ladies indeed, hah! As if he'd ever let go. A brow raised at the boy's attempts of pouting, before he laughed along with him. "That's right! And I wish you well on your journey." If he was lucky, he could follow that law numerous times. 8P
Ears and tails pitter pattered, thinking about how else he spent his time. "Well let's seeee..." Nap, eat...and when he was lucky, tease the hell outta Revelin. >D Soul shrugged with a toothy grin. "Not much else really. I do tend to run on the lazy side." Bright eyes blinked to Cope. "Why, you gots any ideas?"

"Why thank you, my friend," he responded, bowing slightly. Any well-wishes were always accepted. Although, it would probably be a while before Cope took up this supposed journey to find lady friends. It all seemed a bit random to him. Tails still gently swaying, he canted his head.
"Ideas? Hm." Banded ears twitched, sliding up and down as he thought. Or rather, as he decided whether or not their new relationship was strong enough to weather a random pounce attack yet. "Well, maybe." Aw heck, worries hadn't held the excitable male back before. And he honestly didn't think Soul would be mad... Or he hoped Soul wouldn't be mad. "Well, yeah!" In a second, he'd moved, paws extended towards his appointed playmate.

Random is as random does. Besides, it's not like anyone really controlled their own lives, all you could do was grasp for some motivation. Heh, he was soo smart when he bothered trying. Soul's ears flicked proudly, the black male nodding to his own thoughts.
A brow raised as Cope pondered, Soul pulling off an air of regal patience and...boredom. Heh, playing pretend was fun! "Welllllll?" He turned his attention to pampering his clean nails as he awaited some useful ideas. Tails twitched and he smirked when he finally got a reply, though that melted off once he glanced to the other male. What was he up to?!? Soul clenched his teeth at the incoming paws as he reacted with a defensive curling of his form. Too late though, he thought of trying to dodge the boy. Too bad he was so slow...

Paws impacted, one remaining gently planted on fur and the other slipping past the dark form to contact the ground. Unlike their first encounter, he didn't flip wildly over the other. Instead, he huffed as his face and chest mooshed against the unforgiving curled body. Blinking curiously, and looking equally as curious practically perched atop the other, his shoulders sank. Soul didn't want to play? Had he been too hopeful? Slipping off, he nosed against the curled male. Normally, when he pounced, he was greeted with open paws (even if they were smacking him in the face to keep him off or fight back). Habitually, his maw parted slightly, fangs scraping lightly at fur. Of course, when he realized what he was doing, he recoiled, backing away and looking figgety. This wasn't papa or other family. He couldn't just go chewing without permission.

"Oof." stare
The darker male uncurled from his hunch, now that the tackle was over. And if that was at all meant to be violent or threatening.....then Cope sucked at that. Especially when he practically faceplanted to his fur. Giving a toothy sneer, Soul pinned his ears back as he struggled to breathe under the other kitsu. "Do you mind? I said any ideas, not attacks." Sitting upright, he patted some dust off his shoulder. Honestly, all he came out for was a nap today, and now he felt like he was babysitting/training another dude.
Eyes blinked when he felt the unmistakable brush of fangs against his pelt. Just what did this fellow want? "Eh, lay off kid." Soul found no patience or honest threat towards the other male. Just a sort of 'too cool' mood that seemed to be eating dirt twice today. A chomp was given to a stray pale tail, returning the favor to Cope. Huff!

"Sorry, sorry," he was sure to sound as sincere as he felt, dipping his head ever so slightly in reflex. A sheepish expression was evident as he tried to laugh it off. "Couldn't resis-" Muscles tensed, tails flicking in some sort of defense mechanism. The most heavily offended appendage swung the most, as if trying to whack its attacker in the face. "-t." The nervous laughter left his throat unstrained now. Perhaps Soul wasn't the type to get overly upset over such a thing.
The blue-branded paw rose, giving the adult the unoffensive air of a kit. "I didn't mean a thing by it, honestly." Ice blue eyes narrowed in the normal, playful manner, watching his dark companion as if still deciding how well the little assault had been taken. "I guess I could try to think of something more..." How to say it? Something more in-tune with lazy? Cope wasn't quite good at that one.
