you can't really get an exact age. he was a time traveller. we have no idea how much travling he did actually do. he could be 10 billion years old. The doc mentioned his sexually prefrences wink lol were just like someone of the 51st century,
and he got the name 'Face of boe' back in his own time. he was the first to sign up to a certain modeling agency and boe was short for the place he lived

They grow old and do die, but from what I gathered Jack was thirty two when they first met him.

Gigglemeister Galaxy_defender Wow, when I'm bored I never think about doing stuff like that. Very imaginative. 4,999,800,000 years old?!?! Holy crap... that's old. Very old.
Ah, I really do love the Face of Boe. Bless. I would hug him if I could. I think of strange and clever things when I'm bored, I would make a nice companion for The Doctor. 3nodding Yeah, the Face of Boe was cool, I wish there could have been more of him in the show. we did see him but in diffrent form didn't we...... JACK!!!

At first it was hard to believe that Jack was the Face of Boe. They have different personalities, not to mention the big face. But I'm wondering if they thought this out at the beginning or just tossed it out. Anyone got any ideas?

And I do think they thought of it from the start, why else would have they tossed Jack into the throw?

boe is a lot more mellow. But considering how old he is and all he must have been through ya can't honestly think he'd still be the same jack as in "empty child"

Jack has a wisdom score of 13. The Face of Boe has a wisdom score of 3000.
Sorry, was getting my D&D all over my Doctor Who again...

It was tossed in at the end...otherwise the interaction between the Doctor and Boe in the second episode would have been much more interesting.

Yeah, and it would explain why the Face kept calling the Doctor "Old friend" even though they had only met twice before.
And I curious as to how Jack goes from such... hotness, into becoming a giant face?

And I curious as to how Jack goes from such... hotness, into becoming a giant face? well, like he said, "i can't die, but i keep aging. what'll happen when i live to be a million years old..." and that's what happens when he lives for a million years. is an awful shame that his gorjushnesh goes... crying
