Again he was quet for a few moments as he considered her words. It would take a lot of guts for what he was about to stay next as well. "Would you consider me?" he asked, being careful not to show too much emotion in that question. He didn't want to sound too forward either.

His moment of quiet, she realized he was pondering to himself. Just of what, she was uncertain. But her throat went dry, even before she fully comprehended his words. He was asking her...that. She lifted herself up, sitting next to the hesitant male. She gave her own nervous smile, before resting her head on his, blending their feathers together. "Why wouldn't I?" He was very impressive thus far.

Darkfeather moved himself off of her when she sat up, looking to here as he awaited an answer to his question. Her answer caused him to chuckle. They were being so cryptic with each other... both of them practicly dancing around their emotions... not fully wanting to admit anything. "Then what's holding you back?"

His chuckle was like a permission to smile. This was such a game of cat and mouse, but neither knew their role. Like daring each other to touch a fire. His question made her eyes quiver, and she couldn't look him in the eyes. The water seemed far more interesting than it had before. "I'm scared...alright?"

She was scared... afraid of being hurt, he rationalized. "I understand..." he said quietly, and left it at that. Her words and the way she said it, brought back memories. His trainer had been afraid of being hurt, behind that tough girl exterior. She needed to work things out with herself before continuing forward. Well... Darkfeather could respect that.

Thank goodness he did. She just hoped he was as patient as understanding. Her ears ducked back, tired of herself always side-stepping. Life was so much simpler when you didn't have another person depending on you. You could fail all the time and not be bothered by it. But that's not what she wanted.
Murmuring to herself, she shifted back to sitting down, placing her head on her paws. At the very least, she knew she wanted to have her head on straight by the time she reached realm. But wants and fears seemed to be evenly matched in this situation.

Well.. only time would tell with that one it seemed. He wasn't going to force Setsumi into anything for sure. He would wait as long as he could, but obviously... there would be a point where he couldn't wait any more. Hopefully she would decide by then.
"We should probably go... if you're wanting to get back relatively soon" Darkfeather then said to her, getting to his paws and stretching. He slept well and was ready to continue on their way... although perhaps they could do with a bit of breakfast.

Giving it a moment's guess, she nodded. "Alright, if you're ready." From her toes to her tails she stretched, then moved to stand. It allowed her thoughts to drift back to realm, and those who were waiting there. She could only imagine how much drama they were having.
Still...
A sigh flew from her, and she shook her head. It was still early morning, where another hour or so could be gained in sleep. Like she had said before, she wanted to leave with peace in mind. And she believed, trusted, that Dark could be the one to provide her that. She gave a grin, brushing against Darkfeather. "But my vacation's not over."

Blink... "What do you mean?" he asked in confusion. Her vacation wasn't over yet? Did that mean she wanted to stick around a bit longer? He nuzzled her when Setsumi brushed against him... although you could practicly see the question marks above his head. Hopefully she would be inclined to enlighten him. "Was there still something you wanted to do?"

Setsumi giggled lightheartedly. She found it funny but enjoyable, how they both stumbled about with words and actions. She framed his face with her paws, rubbing abit on the stripes. She knew, past all her doubts and nervous hesitations, that she felt best here. With Darkfeather. She kept using the excuse that his character may change, but now...she didn't see that happening. He was too loyal to do that.
"Yes...but only if you're willing..." It made her flush somewhat, but thankfully it was dark. She was hating herself, for being indecisive and dragging him along with her. So now, she'd make her stance known, and gratefully let Darkfeather decide next. "Will you help me forget? Help me stop holding back?"

Well.. he certainly wasn't expecting that. After all... didn't she just say that she was scared... wouldn't she need time? But well... as Setsumi took his face in her paws, his doubts faded, closing his eyes briefly when she rubbed at his stripes.
Opening his eyes again, he looked to her in quiet thought, before nodding slowly. "If you're sure that's what you want." He didn't want her to regret anything, but if she was sure.. then yes, he would help her forget.

She peeked at his red eyes, nervous to find him upset. Another reason why she had held his face softly. She didn't want him to pull away in...what? Anything negative. "Sorry, I've been so confusing lately. I know it must've irritated you time and again." Her tails curled around her as she finally spoke up. The past was the past, she finally accepted that. "But...I'm sure. If you're just as sure..." She didn't want this to be some pity thing. She wanted him to be with her......just as much as she wished to be with him.

"You have nothing to be sorry for..." even if she had been giving him mixed signals... but he managed to tolerate it. When she said she was sure, he nodded... "Alright... If you're sure, then I am as well." Putting his forepaws around her, Darkfeather nuzzled Setsumi's neck. Also, moving to kiss her... although a bit awkwardly... it would take him awhile to get use to this form of... showing affection.

Was that her heart fluttering? Setsumi blinked her green eyes as Darkfeather said his mind, resting her head on his shoulder. "Thank you." She grinned into the kiss, planning to assist him in such displays of affection. She could finally say to herself that she was happy, with confidence in her words.
