When she finally had the other in her arms. There was no place the other wanted to be than here...
And even more. When the other put her head on her shoulder. She felt her blood boil under her cheeks. "Ah... Alright... I'll have to stop being... nervous then." With though words- she still couldn't help but feel nervous. Knowing the one numa you cared so much about and tried so hard to find and see smile. Feel something for you. It was exciting!

Her head lowered just a little bit and nuzzled the other's cheek. But then she froze. Show her...? She didn't even know! Something she felt under her skin~ but she was sure that these days were excellent for others if they were in the dark but found each other to find a common light.

"Ok.. I'll show you anything and everything you want.. I will do my best thats within my power. Ok.?" She said trying to seek that acceptance once more. Sayuri's paw found her way to the other's back. Softly brushing it some through her paw- the fur.. and the even bandages...

Her other paw however held the other female securely. To expose her real true care- if she'd fall. Sayuri would catch her, and thats how she felt in her heart and would convey it any way she could. She noticed how the other reacted to soft touch.. and it made her smile- thoughtfully...

"There's no reason for you to be nervous," Leinth repeated, even though she was feeling that way a bit herself. "Know this: no matter what happens, you are a wonderous person. Believe that, know it in your heart, or no one else will notice you for who you are." It was a soft version of what she constantly told herself- that if she didn't remind herself who she was, no one else would. She had to be strong, and know it, so that nobody could take it from her.

But as she was now learning, there was more than one kind of strength. The kind she had worked so hard to have, the strength to stand alone, was one kind. The strength to stand with someone else was another. She didn't have much of that yet; she felt as weak as a child... but children were dependent, and she could be too, for a while. It wouldn't make her any less than she was. She had her old strength, and it wasn't going anywhere. And in the end, she would be stronger for it.

Of course, it was more than just strength, Leinth knew. Even more than the strength to accept and to be accepted, to let herself be judged in the eyes of another. It was something she hadn't yet been able to identify in terms that satisfied her. But until she could, she would keep taking chances, keep putting herself out on a wire, and hoping that if she fell, someone would be there for her. A certain someone, as a matter of fact.

"I'll hold you to that," she murmured. "There is so much that is strange, so much that I don't know... what happens now?"

"Hm?..." She nodded in response to the others sayings. She'd be less nervous- if she wasn't so excited and having butterflies in her stomach. "You too you know. If Imma be myself you better be yourself." She smirked some putting a paw under the other's chin and tilting it up to look her way. "Thats what I like best about you." The sweet smirk crossed her face. Chuckling some that she was being depended on. "Of course you could hold me to that. I'd like that."

She leaned forward some and nuzzled the other's nose. "What happens now is what you make it- I'll be beside you. Remember that. As long as you'll have me... I'll be there. Ok." She poked the other's nose with the paw that she had under the other's chin.

Before this all became. She remembered vast amounts of unwant- escaped and excluded from life. Nothing was in her grasp and fending alone for so long... the only real family that she protected was Chi's. But, she hoped that she could do that.. and make a bond with another. outside the family.

"....If you want. I was thinking... If you'd want-" No. She stopped. It was too soon and anyways. She couldn't ask the other to just randomly be apart of a family. It was too soon and these things took time.. and she was willing to wait of course. Like she waited til she found her. Shaking her head some to get the idea out of her head. If the other wanted to be 'her family'. Something that she would protect forever til death. And thats the saddest part. She didn't want to intimate her-nor push to fast. So she changed the subject.

"First thing though- Can I come see you again." Like some high school fairytale- her voice was soft and her eyes started to take their original form and glow.

Well, that was somewhat amusing. "Have I ever been anything other than myself?" Leinth asked, genuinely curious. She didn't think she pretended to be anyone other than herself, since there was really no point in putting on such an act. "I don't give idle advice. And if you like, I will hold you to it."

Or maybe even if she didn't like. Leinth hadn't thought that far just yet.

"I'm not used to looking forward," she admitted. "You might not want to stay forever until you know what you've gotten into." There she was, pushing people away again... but she wouldn't forgive herself if she ended up hurting someone who was actually important. This way, there was still a way out, if either of them needed it. She turned her head away slightly, her heart twinging as she did.

It seemed that whatever she was thinking, she wasn't alone? It seemed that Sayuri was thinking something as well... but she didn't finish the thought, and Leinth didn't push it. She would finish her sentence when she was ready, and not before. When she did speak, Leinth almost replied with a sassy remark, but stopped herself. This was a time for change, wasn't it?

"I'd like that," she whispered, and actually smiled.

"Yea, you have only been but yourself~ As far as I know and If you allow me. I could possibly get to know you..." She petted the other's head softly~ the touch even entranced her. Being able to hold someone that she felt would make an impact on her life was... so nerve racking but she dealt with it just as calmly. The wind had blown over more now and it was time to move before it got any worse, with sparkles of soda-rain dropping down on them. Sayuri looked up, the dropplets accumlating on in her hair, making it damp and slick down-which covered over her left eye. The glow of her eyes almost seemed foggy now that rain was beginning to settle.

"Forever ... Is too short. " Her ears slanted behind her as her tail softly placed around the other's tail on the outside. In some caring matter as she only did to others that needed comforting. But this was conforting for her as well.. When she looked in the other's glowing eyes. That smile she had- made Sayuri blissful enough to smile herself. A genuinine one that made her heart tremble.

Could- she ask the other? What was this feeling- the same as the want to be needed.. But she was now. For this numa. She was depended on~ what she wanted most...and the other gave it to her without even realizing how important it was to Sayuri to have... Now. "Wanna get out of this soda? And go some place?" Her voice was lightly toned.
