~A Heart~

A heart that is torn in two directions,
doesn't know where to fly.
One that doesn't know its affections,
is surely left to die.

Sing, my heart, and tell me what you desire.
I'll try my best to provide,
that which will feed the fire.



~Elements, Me, & Forever~

Rain falls like tears from my eyes
Wind blows like my sighs in the night
Earth trembles as my body aches
And Fire's embers fall like my hearts many pieces
So why does everything still show color
When I feel as numb as the gray sky?
Why does life for others go on, while mine is gone?
And why does no one see the hole in my chest?
I gave it all up for him, and it all went away
Rain shows the tears that will not fall
Wind sighs the sighs that escape no more
Earth trembles from my aches, when I can not move
And Fire's embers fall for my heart that is gone...
forever...



~Stuck~

I'm stuck in a corner of my soul trying to find a light that doesn't exists. The light of your eyes that brightens the darkest of nights. The light that no longer burns for my kiss nor that of my touch on your skin. I wish, pray, and dream that I shall find the light of my dearest love, that knows not of my tortured heart and soul.



~If I Knew~

If I knew you'd die tomorrow,
I'd break down and cry today.
My heart would fill with sorrow,
Because I didn't live the day.

If I knew you'd bring me heartache,
Even if its what you say.
I'd still kiss you for the sake,
To say you were mine for just a day.

If I knew I'd love you so,
I'd have kissed you a day before
Just so you would know
That I'll love you forever more.


~Let it Be~

Let the fire burn
ridding me of darkness
the darkness so inviting
so intoxicating and enticing.

Let the water churn
begging me to follow happiness
happiness that isn't true
happiness I'll never feel without you.

Let the wind blow and embrace
embrace the heart shattered by fate
blow the pain away forever
pain caused by a long ago lover.

Let the earth show your face
the face that knows not of hate
bring to me comfort and love
one as beautiful as the first dove.



~An Angel~

Life gave me an angel
to help me win my fights
an angel that will hold me
through the many cold nights

My heart chose an angel
to give itself to
an angel I never thought
would turn out to be you

An angel so perfect
in his own little way
one I never thought
could make me want to stay

My soul found an angel
when I was about to die
an angel that taught me
that I could still fly



~Heart's Death Bed~

My angel has taken flight
Left me alone like all the rest
I'm not ready for this fight
To leave was for the best?

I needed my angel to guide me
To help me through my fears
I needed my angel to love me
Even through my tears

When I gave my heart, I gave it all
Is there more to be said?
I saw him and was ready to fall
But now I lie on my heart's death bed


~Regret Nothing~

Reach for the stars
Love who you have
Remember your scars
The good ones and bad
Pray to the sky
To see you through
Until the day you die
Regret nothing you do.

-One More day-
I laugh at the murder adn suicide,
When I know no one's on my side.
I turn around to see you,
But you can't see me too.
No one sees, no one knows.
I'm not gonna fake, I'm not gonna pose.
I'll tell you truely,
I love you deeply.
But if you leave,
I'll wipe my tears on my sleeve.
I stay awake every night,
replaying my own fight.
My fight for you,
that you see right through.
I can't give up, I just can't
You'll never hear me rant.
I'll love you forever,
through all kinds of weather.
I laugh at the suicide I thought was the only way,
But now I live to see you for just one more day.


-Reborn-
I'm lost in a way yet I'm already found.I died a little today because I saw him with her. I grew a little though in three weeks. I found myself a little more just by listening. I never understand him anymore yet I dont really care. I learned a little more just by talking. I relaxed a little more by smiling. I laugh a little more just by sighing. I know that i have changed and I have moved on. He doesnt know yet but he will soon. He killed me,he lost me, he left me, then he burned me. I was killed, lost, left, burned, and more. But with you I was reborn. You make me laugh, never cry. You make me smile, never frown. You make me understand, never confuse. You make me relax, never tense. You gave me Birth, not death. You heal me, love me, care for me, and ask for nothing more! Because with me you are reborn


-Him-
My soul howls for him
I wonder if he'll stay
My eyes only cry for him
For him I still pray
My mind screams because of him
I lay awake through everyday
My heart only lives because of him
Just thinking of what he'll say
I can only sing for him
When I say "I love you"
I can dream again because of him
I never hear "I love you too"
I only dream of him
I don't know if its true
I can write again because of him
But i hope he feels it too
I can live again for him,
and for my friends


-Why-
Why can't I just froget?
The way your eyes shine
When the sun starts to set
The way you look when I say I'm fine
Why do I care so?
That you always smile at me
And yet I still know
That you can't see
Why do I feel this way?
You love ehr not me
All I have left to say
I love you more than you can see


-If's-
If I died tommorrow
who would say they love me today?
If he died in the morrow
for him would you still pray?
If you knew when you'd die
would you live the way you should?
If you had one more sigh
would you give it up so someone else could?
If's mean nothing
they're just mere words said.
But if they meant something
do they mean anything to the daed?
Dead not in the body but in the heart and mind
someone lost beyond return
would an "if" help them find
someone whom they yern?
"Words can only cure so much."

*Sorry*

I’m sorry if I made you mad,
I never mean to,
I'm sorry that I try,
Is that to much to do
I'm sorry that its not what you want,
It never is anymore
I'm sorry I'm still here,
I don’t even know what for
I'm sorry life isn’t fair,
Its just a new door
I'm sorry if you hate me,
I did nothing to you
I'm sorry that I care,
Am I not suppose to
I’m just sorry
For everything



*eyes*

With these eyes I see the truth,
I see how you feel,
How you hurt.
With your eyes,
You do not see me,
The way I see you.
The light behind my eyes fades,
As I hurt, and as I love.
The light can not stay,
When you are not near.
Your eyes show everything,
But only I see.
My eyes show nothing,
But you still know.
I do not understand you,
Nor you me.
But with out you,
I would not be.




*Fire*

It burns me
From the inside out.
Yet it freezes me,
There is no doubt.

Fire is so delicate,
Yet so strong.
I’m thrown into the pit
With only your song.

You are my fire,
And I your ice.
We gamble with desire
With a fixed set of dice.

-For others-

Sometimes we are here,
Not for ourselves,
But for others.
We fight this life
Not so that we may live
But so that we are here.
We find a need to stay around
For other people
So that they may live.
Is it so bad that I am here,
For them and not myself?
Or is it what we all do,
To have a reason to stay?



-Land of confusion-

I do not understand the feelings in my chest
All I know is that you are not like the rest
You care in a way no others do
And for some reason I feel the same for you
It is not right and I know it
But I do not want to change it a bit
I care for you beyond all the words I know
And for some reason I feel like I’m on show
I live in this world filled with confusion
And all that is left is my confession



*The Fire and Me*

The light so innocent and warming
Just like the light behind my eyes
So beautiful and yet so dangerous
Just like the rose with poison thorns
Hypnotizing and unique
Just like my dances
Simple yet complicated
Just like my mind
Contained yet fighting
Just like my soul
Blazing and ever lasting
Just like my heart




*Only Human*

Sometimes I wonder why
Why we live this life
Why we love when we shouldn’t
And why we fight for reasons unknown
I sit and think upon these thoughts
never knowing why
I sit and wonder why everything is this way
Why we hate others around us
Why we don’t want to be here
And why we don’t follow our hearts
The only reasons I can think of are
We are afraid of ourselves and others
We are ashamed of what we could be
And it is something we learned
But in the end
only one reason need be said
We are only human.

~Leaving~

People leave all the time
So why do I let them go?
I just want to watch them shine
Without saying I love them so

They always walk away from me
Am I a stepping stone?
I just wish they could see
That I'm waiting by the phone.

People never turn around and look
Why do I let let them in?
Its so they can see the path they took
And never think of it as sin.

Leaving is a part of all
So why can't I see?
That I must let them fall
And maybe come back to me.
