I can't say things much, but after all I think being nice and don't play bad is a lot better than godlike skill and bad personality.
I don't put much things in the comments, just say all necessary things (e.g. Runic Portal 6/6, Sky + Sea O, and jobs that are 75) and it's their choice to invite me or not.
People remember other's skills and personalities. Suck players even with full merit will get no invite in my server. The same goes to bad players with full merit.
I only have WHM and RDM 75, but not much merit because of my little play time. Still, if we don't play bad, we always get a party.
About end game gears, it's nothing compare to skill. I have seen a SAM75 without Kirin Osode or Abj. Armors who plays a lot better than a SAM75 who have the Kirin Osode, Byakko Haidate, etc.
But after all my things, it's just be nice and don't play bad.
If they say you suck, just get them to do it themselves.
If they can't, they don't have the right to say that.
If they tell you to silence the imp, look at the camp.
If it's Caedarva Mire (Azouph Isle), it's just an unlucky one.
If it's Caedarva Mire (Nyzul Idle), tell them to do it themselves, those imps are hard as hell to put silence on. (confirmed, I always 1-hit silence on the azouph heraldic imps but not Nyzul Isle-Mire heraldic imps.)

First off: I've played for who knows how long now. I haven't reached 75, and I'm slow on leveling. Very slow. I like chatting in my LS, even if they're constantly doing level 75-stuff. The rare thing is: They don't really care if I'm only level 35, They actually talk to me. The thing is I started playing again about- three week ago because of money issues and I couldn't play for about half a year. I log on, the LS was broken.
About a week ago, I saw someone from my old LS "Kalm" and sent them a tell. Apparently, everyone thought I quit. x_x; but I got that cleaned up, and since I was leveling my Sub for RDM, someone came all the way from sky to give me a LS all the way in the dunes. :3
Now my ranting:
It makes me extremely sad to rant about my ex-boyfriend/husband. It really, really, does. I met Al, ((not giving the full name.)) in my first LS. We started hanging out, then started going out. And he eventfully asked me to marry him. I did, but I had to get to 20. I got to it, and we secretly married. About a couple of months later, he hit 60. And was so excited, so was I for him.
But, as time went on every level he went up, he had new things to do. And eventually, it dissappered as soon as level 75 came along. He stopped talking to me, until I bluntly pointed it out. He goes, "You're the one who stopped talking to me, gotta go killing Kirn.(sp?) " it pissed me off, that he did that. I can't hate him, but he doesn't play anymore apparently, with in the 8 months I dissappered, he quit/got caught up in school.
._. so, yeah level 75 changes the most nicest person..and bestfriend.
Thankfully, my friend lexi-chan, and Kuro-nee-chan, are still here.
x_x; I dunno if it was a rant...but I feels good to type it all down.

On the whole WotG thing, I've heard a ton of debate.
In the early announcement, there was an interview where they stated they wanted WotG to be like CoP, as in have capped stages so lower levels can move along with it. I for one am for this.
But recently, many of my friends have speculated that this will happen with the small bits of info coming out. A lot of people believe that WotG will in fact be more "end-game" material. This was mainly backed by the fact that last update SE accidentally put some WotG NMs in the game which spawned in the beastmen strongholds and were not soloable by any 75. They were trioed, not soloed.
Now, this is where I've betted with a few friends. Many believe these NMs are part of some sort of quest to gain access to the WotG part, because they did not drop anything (except a crystal here and there) the numerous times they were killed. I believe they are part of the higher up parts of it.
So...Atm theres a large confusion/speculation as to what kind of expansion WotG will be.

Yes. I was just making up an emote that would sound better for an angry mob of tarutarus. I seem to do that a lot. sweatdrop I hope those people who believe that's how you will access most of the new expansion are wrong, Cloudy. We don't need another area where lower levels cannot even enter. And wow, I didn't even know about thw accidental WotG mobs. Very interesting.

Tamati UchihaObito916 To me I believe SE should make the lower levels enjoyable... or make it a little easier to level now that not as many people seem to be in the lower levels. I mean what used to barely take around 30 minutes or less to get a party in Valkurm/Qufim/Yuhtunga now seems to take like an hour or more to actually get a party. It was nice that they introduced more jobs, and maybe introducing more jobs might help... but too much expansion of jobs isn't a good idea ^^. As much as I don't mind waiting for parties at higher levels, just waiting for a party at the lower levels for a long time seems ridiculous if you asked me... and therefore to stream more new players to FFXI SE needs to make the lower levels... like I said more enjoyable for the newer players and less wait then suppose to O.O. Ugh, yea, I am a new player, thus lowish level and all.... and waiting times are quite ridiculous at the Dunes for me at the moment. Just thinking that yesterday I spent SIX hours sitting there waiting for a party on my Bard....while a BLM Ls mate spent three hours waiting and then having the party break after 30 mins. And I am actually one of the people who find the Dunes enjoyable, despite the fact that parties are often ...soso.... I just find it amusing leveling there, but not sitting around for hours before I decide to call it a day and go back to Windurst. Exactly ; ;, and most of the party tends to spawn at later times like around 6pm or so around my time heh.

I'm very sorry to hear that, since that's happened to me multiple times. Yes, girls do it to boys, too. One of the girls whom I was going to marry got a Sky LS soon after I helped her get into Sky. I, on the other hand, didn't have a Sky LS (and still don't). She began going to Sky and leaving me behind more and more often, then she began doing Dynamis and other end-game stuff without me. She got mad at me when she was confronted with this fact and it was then that she broke up with me. A month later I saw that she was married to someone else. Today, she has all the "leet" equipment and she's in one of those elitist LS's with her husband.

Yeah, they were up for about...3 days or so after the update before they fixed it. The NMs were like, the iron-clad orcs and stuff found in the opening cs/snapshots.

my best friend who plays everyday is a level 75 on several jobs, hes good. but ive seen many lvl 75s who couldnt play worth a crap.

I think it completely depends on the job u lvl. my first 7 was Brd,an i hate that job with complete passion but aparently i was good at it enough i would get pt invites when i was /anon.
Idk i recently got Smn to 75^^ yay!
and am planning on retiring on my brd till i get all the gear i want for it :S hehe.
as of my war is vl 62 and is going to 75 fast because i have awsome sweet pimp gear(THANK YOU ANDURIL) and i'm not mean unless i'm defending my friends, my lovers, or myself.... then i'm just an a** who will harass you till i go into jail on the game for another 5 days XD
So yeah i guess it depends the job going to 75, BRDS are HIGHLY rude...
Rdms are normaly ok, WHM=RUDE AS HELL unless your friend then there th nicest thing ever...
idk the worst job i've seen as a whole of 75 are the Drks....

It's odd that you say this. Naida who was practically the reason I started this thread is in fact a Brd75, Drg75, Rdm75, and Drk75 (along with a variety of other 75 jobs). Another girl who I experienced many problems with was Myrelle, a Whm75. And yet another was Tokii, a Drk71, although even though we haven't talked in a little around a month, has become nicer over the past year. The last falling out I had was with Kit, who is a Smn75 and Brd75 just to name a few.
I'm a Rdm75, Nin75, and Sam70 (planning on getting Blm to 75 too). Does this mean I'm doomed?~Dramanue de la Rosa Negra
