Is the DS one as stupid as Sims 2 Pets was?

KiwiDragon I got it for both, but if you can only get one, get the one on the Wii. They are both fun though.
It doesn't take a whole lot of time to reach 5 stars in your town, but there is still a lot to do. There are certainly some things that I wish were included, like wifi, I don't understand why that isn't in the game. It would have been fun to visit other's towns.
The DS version is a little slower and a little more confusing to figure out what to be doing, but the more you play, the more it seems to come together.
Its a different story right? Something about taking over your grandparents stuff

In the DS version you are fixing up a resort town, where in the Wii version you are fixing up a...."living in" town.
I've never played Sims 2 Pets on anything but the computer, so I really can't compare.

It's pretty fun. A little 'kiddy' for my tastes and it's more like a bob the builder type of game, in my opinion.
