That's just...stupid. Do you have any idea the mass amount of recalls? First, the receptors would get screwed up a lot. They degrade horribly fast. And they would have bad connections.

If it comes with a cup holder, i'll be the first to buy it when it comes out.

I'm just wondering what they will do with the controller. Since they are maybe not including the A,B,X, and Y buttons and D-pad. Maybe they will use s touch screen that adapts depending on which game?

I think both would be good since some things are harder with a touch screen than with a control stick/d-pad.

If they added more than red for color it would be amazing. It had great virtual reality capabilities but it just should have more color.

I don't think that it's going to happen. A lot of people still remember the Virtural Boy and Nintendo may not want to risk name association. The media seems to burn Nintendo enough and Virtural Boy 2 would give the media a field day. Eventually, true reality will be a possibility and I expect to see it in my lifetime.

I'm positive about the better graphics part....Nintendo is workin in-depth with ATi(who doesnt know that) and I hear their next-gen graphics cards are amazing.

It ate my last post...

In short, this is what I thought the Revolution needs to blow everyone away:

-DVD/CD player
-Online play
-Help from Square-Enix
-Help from Sega (more)

More titles from SE would attract even more 3rd party developers, methinks.

DVD players are a no. The DVD players in both the XBox and PS2 were terrible, and many people complained of scratched/damaged discs and damage to the PS2 itself afterwards. The PS2 one was cheap and badly put in, the XBox required you to buy a package just to make it work.

The Cube is a games machine, not a movie/music machine. I hope Nintendo don't give in to peer pressure and do it 'just because all the other games designers were doing it' with their next console, unless it really needs to...and if they do put one in, let's hope it does a better job than the PS2/XBox.

Online play; perhaps. But you need to think of the massive costs of servers and such, as well as subscriptions (Edit: I'm one of those people who reads the first page and thinks he knows it...Free = Sometimes Good), etc...and fighting games don't always work terrifically online. (A la Guilty Gear X2 #Reload.)

Square-Enix/Sega Assitance = Meh. I think most of the Square-Enix games brought out lately are sub-par. Besides FFV-VI (Was that it?) that were(/was) brought out on the GBA, most of them were sucky. FF:CC being one of them. Sega's games might have more hope, but I'm expecting a good Sonic game.

! & 2 were released onto the GBA.

I would'nt be surprised is SE pays more attention to Nintendo when it comes to the next-next-gen consoles. Look at who they are favoring so far. They are making a lot more games for the DS then the PSP.

Ah, I thought IV/V/VI had been released on a console, too. O.o;

As for SE, I wouldn't consider them worth getting a DS for...just for their games, anyway. The first game coming out from them is meant to be Advent Children, right? Personally, I hated FFVII, I don't see why FFVII 'The Second Coming' will interest me any further.

Although maybe having wireless multiplayer on Crystal Chronicals DS will persuade me...but even so, CC isn't really all that great anyway. sweatdrop
