Lace screeched angrily as she was taken by the tails, shooting an angry grey-eyed glare at Xianthe.
"Illusionist, shimazztiz." The kit sang, trying to wriggle out of the kitsu's grasp. "A witch nevertheless~" She grinned as Tuuli bit the other, shouting. "Now you've got your just deserts, witch!"

Dropping both kits in a fairly unceremonious fashion, the illusionist shook the affected paw briefly, all the while envisioning the merry revenge she'd have on the runts eventually. That was the wonderful thing about kitsu smaller than oneself; generally, except in cases like these, Xianthe had the advantage.
Of course, the Nobody had realized early on into the fight that this wasn't going to be a case of her besting the kits, causing them to run home to their mothers. Frowning, the purple haired female rubbed her sore paw irritably, paying no heed to the terms and conditions Tuuli delivered next.
"Miss witch!" Tuuli began, attempting to look as regal and powerful as a small kit could, "I am giving you a choice right here and now! Either you leave our kingdom, never to return, or you accept defeat, and face proper punishment for attacking royalty!"
Needless, a kit, of all things, threatening Xianthe wasn't something to be taken seriously, and, as a result, while Tuuli had the Nobody's attention, it wasn't without the elder kitsu attempting to hold back her laughter. After all, it was like being back in Twilight Town, or something similar, and having a small child make threats like that- it was hilarious, is what it was, nothing to keep a straight face while listening to.
And, of course, laughing is just what Xianthe did, finding it all too comical that this obviously delusional kit was telling her to leave, and, of course, Tuuli was far from amused.
"So I take this as a sign of your refusal, then, to follow orders!?" Tuuli inquired, "Lady Lace! It is time to apprehend this criminal!"

Lace emitted a small squeak as the witch simply dumped both of them on the floor, but righted herself with a defiant and angry huff, smoothing back her fur with a paw. She said nothing, preferring to aim a cold glare at Xianthe, while letting the princess speak.
Setting her jaw, she nodded at Tuuli's words and replied. "Yes, m'lady!" She glanced at the princess for further orders, somewhat unsure of what to do next. Trying to bite the witch again wouldn't help, seeing what had happened before. "Perhaps we need to tie her up." She suggested, casting her gaze around to look for some kind of rope.

Xianthe ignored the glare, of course, finding it to be their own fault for instigating her into this silly little battle. At the very least, Xianthe'd be weary of kits for awhile, and certainly wouldn't underestimate them in battle.
Not that she expected any kit, even the crazy ones she was dealing with currently, to ever be able to hold their own in a real battle.
Yes, tying the witch up was a good idea, Tuuli mused, a very good one. The question as to where to find any material suitable for such came to mind, however, and the kit was a bit lost on where to find any out in the open.
Then again, princesses never needed to worry about such things, as their prince or loyal knight always came to the rescue at this point. Usually. They did in the books, anyways.
Eventually, though, in the end, they apprehended their criminal one way or another, and peace was restored, right?
