Well, I guess since this thread got pulled up again, I might as well give one last update.

It took two months, but I started taking the sacrament again. I was so happy when hat time came, I cried. Hard. I'm still meeting with my bishop on a regular basis. He's actually not a super helpful guy, but I'm glad he's so excited to see my progress. He asks me to study a different topic in the scriptures every week or so, and lately I've been researching "joy" in the TG because I'm getting to that point where the pain is gone, and I feel joy in my repentance.

I still don't have a temple recommend. I don't know when I will, but I'm pretty sure I'll be able to attend the Rexburg temple dedication in February.

I'm so happy here. Everything used to remind me of what happened, and it's not like that anymore. I forget about it a lot of the time. Being at BYU-I has just put so much into perspective for me. There are so many great guys here that are examples to me of the character traits of a man worth waiting for. I've finally set firm boundaries for myself, instead of being a fence-sitter, which is another reason for my getting into so much trouble. I've been on some dates since coming here, and I vow to be chaste with the guys here and not kiss someone unless I can really, truly mean it. No more permarital snogging for this girl, either. I'm going to make it worth the wait to marry me.

Thanks once more for all the advice you've given me through this. I'm so much more appreciative of the Atonement and of the repentance process now that I've gone through it. I love the Lord so much more, and I feel stronger than I did before. Yay!!
