As the last wall of Site B crumbled, Retloc slowed to a halt. He turned around and stared at the remains of Site B. His mind went back to those great times of Site B... The great thrill of it all...the adventure, the comradery... A great weight settled in his chest, then somehow, miraculously, lightened. The thrill, the friends, the adventure...it would never leave him. Not as long as he still had...Tao, Ksrugi, 731...and the rest of the Site B crew.
Retloc started. "What happened to Shinzo!?"

Ksrugi heard what Ret said but only grinned.
"Chances are little fella ran for it. He'll be fine."
Ksrugi looked over the scarred wasteland that was once Site B and sighed.
"What now?"

As Tao lay on the ground he watched as some of the dust cleared. All that was left were remains of a once great complex. Fires still raged uncontrollably as a small tear slid down Taos cheek, he heard Retlocs words, then Ksrugis, "I dont know... nothing is ever certain...

731 stopped and cought her breath, she turned to look at the remains of Site B. Her mind was lost in thought, first carmel had come back to life then...Tao...

Retloc grinned at Site B before turning his back on it for the very last time. "What now? Well, I didn't join the Organization without getting perks! I can get a helicopter here within ten minutes...that'll get us a ride to...wherever you want. Shall I?" He pulled out a cell phone.

Ksrugi nodded and then turned. He started to walk away and the wieght of the world seemed to empty on top of him. The sins and crimes he commited when working here, the experiments "for the greater good" had harmed a lot of people.
"Guys, I have a lot of thigns to answer for. If this is the end of Site B, then I may be able to repay those who I have hurt. I wish you only the best."
Ksrugi walked off, tears beginning to form around his eyes. They had been his friends, his family, and his co workers. He had done much here and learned more than a mortal man should. Was this really the last of Ksrugi?

Retloc's happiness died slowly. Ksrugi? No...the end of Site B. The reality of it hit him like a brick wall. No more Site B. No more Ksrugi. No more...anybody.

731 watched Ksurgi in a daze. Her confused mind trying to keep up... "Goodbye... Ksurgi..." She frowned and a few tears streaked across her face...

Many days had dawned on Site B, many nights had covered it in its cloak of darkness but as the sun set over the ruined remains everybody knew it would be the last time.
Friendships were formed as were unbreakable bonds that would follow each of its members throughout the rest of their lives.
