Dark Arashi Tenshi Butterfly Nebula And you know what, even the Maiko fans are overreacting to this. I dunno if I'm just jaded or suspicious or have read too much mystery books but to me, Maiko is NOT final and canon 'til the last episode. There is SO MUCH that can happen in 20 episodes. Then again, it could be a trap-trap. No one ever expects a trap-trap. See, they know that we're expecting them to try and fool us, like they did with the Crossroads of Destiny trailer. So, they add in a huge shipping thing, and we're like, "IT'S A TRAP!" And then, no, it's really real, and we're like, "WTF, IT WASN'T A TRAP." Or, yeah, it could just be a trap. Speculation at this point is infinite. (Admiral Ackbar has joined the fandom. surprised )

I only got into A:TLA after the second season finale, so I don't know about any of the pre-finale fangirl hysterics. I doubt very seriously that it's a trap, times one or two. Seira will throw out a random prediction here. Ready?
You saw that Zuko became Fire-royalty, because there was a screen shot of him with the Fire-royalty-fire-barrette in his hair. I believe that, through diplomacy and whatnot, Zuko has to have a proposed wife in order to be eligible for heir. Azula probably has some devious plot up her sleeves in which she can use Mai (as Zuko's wife-to-be) to acquire power from her family before any of them even die.
How's that for insanely long and drawn out theories that really aren't that long or drawn out? (Wow, that was proper grammar? o.0)
