Sports games aren't fun for me, either, simply because they try to be too realistic, and it's healthier to go outside for that. I prefer Mario sports just because it's something I can do to escape reality.
Yeah, I only like a select few sports games and only two of them are traditional. I like Madden for my Wii and All-Pro for my 360, and that gives me plenty of a football fix. Thing is, I don't buy them very often, about once every three years, because I don't see the point in paying $50 a year for what's essentially an updated roster. Other than that, my only sports picks are Mario Strikers and NBA Street because they're just plain fun. And Wii Sports of course. 3nodding
