Las remained silent as Deo and Alliance were talking. She wasn't quite sure what to think about the whole affair, and still wasn't clear on the exact events. A large steel man that flew? That didn't seem likely, but if Reuvan said she attacked it, it had to be true. This could be bad, but perhaps it wasn't as much of a disaster as the elders would fear. They could just kill the man, after all. Even if he did have a suit of fancy steel he would have to sleep.
Putting on a cheery face for the hatchlings Las grinned, baring her fangs more than necessary. "Don't worry, it'll all work out in the end. Maybe with some bloodshed, too. That'll be interesting." Giving them a salute with one emerald talon she headed out after Weevil. Alliance hadn't told her to come up, but she wanted to be informed.

"Maybe with some bloodshed, too. That'll be interesting."
Katane grimaced at the thought. Being chastized by Ruevian was only to be expected. But hearing Lasreaine cheerily talking about killing was unsettling. She went to see what was left of breakfast, waiting for the elders to all finish filing out of earshot. She crunched a strip of bacon thoughtfully, and then turned to the other hatchlings again. They were all alone now. She grinned.
"So, what to you guys think about it? A flying metal man-gargoyle thingy..... Sounds like something out of a sci-fi. Are they friend or foe?"

With some--- What?! The ghostly creature stared at Lasreaine in shock as she left, trying to get her head around the fact. But... bloodshed? She was by no means a fighter.
Kyraa grabbed a bowl and got some eggs when they were alone, nibbling on them thoughtfully. "Or an an-ih-may ((anime.)) Little ones watch that, don't they? It's perfect. What did the thing really look like, Katane? Did it have any special marks or signs on it?

"I didn't notice any. But the thing was maybe 8 feet tall, and very shiny. New car shiny. It had really big metal wings too, I think they were red, but I'm not sure. It didn't glide like a gargoyle though, it flew more like an airplane or a rocket or something. The rest of it was black. It's voice sounded kind of staticky, like it was coming out of a ..... tellyfone? Something like that."

Terianis's claws sink into the side of the church as he arrests his glide against the side of the massive church.. Slowly and carefully, he climbs toward the roof of the structure, folding his wings around himself. As he nears the top, he stops, listening.
Scowling, Terianis feels something is very, very wrong. What is that smell? It's nothing known. Unless...but it couldn't be, could it? Who would launch rockets from up here? Unless this was more than a church.....
Very carefully, he peeks his head over the top of the edge, eyes narrowed as he looks around the top of the building.

(OOC: Crap, sorry about letting this fall behind.)
Alliance knelt upon the highest tower of the Church, lost in thought. What had that....that thing been? Where had it come from?
Whatever it was, it was at least mostly mechanical. That in itself wasn't troubling, as she was familiar with mechanical objects, having grown up around them. What concerned her the most, however, was that it was shaped to look like a gargoyle, down to the razor-tipped claws on the hands and feet, and even a pair of metal wingtalons.
Even more troubling than that, however, was that its voice sounded.....human...
She looked down to see a dark-colored gargoyle's head poking up over the edge of the roof. She jumped off her perch, and flared her wings to glide to the rooftop. She landed directly in front of the newcomer.

Terianis gives a start as another gargoyle glides to him, quickly slipping up onto the roof, even if only enough to stand before the other lands before him. He hated being at a disadvantage, and in a place like this, it would not do to find himself that way now. Slightly crouched, he eyes the one standing before him, his eyes narrowed
"Is this your roost?"
He keeps his feet planted, unsure of what to make of this clan in such a place, his eyes darting to either side, searching for others of his kind, or an ambush.

Deoridhe watched silently as Ruevian brushed passed, as Alliance exited, as Lasreaine made her bloodthirsty comment and left as well.
They were ...doomed.
The humans would come. There would be death once more.
With a soft whimper, Deoridhe backed toward the door into the interior of church and found a comfortable corner to curl up in, wedged partly behind some furniture someone had salvaged. She folded her paws down, resting her chin on them and wishing, for the hundreth time, she knew a spell to make herself invisible.
