Taru-chan --Again-- "Thought I'd begin by reading a poem by Shakespeare, but then I thought...." The biggest mistake in the books is Jacob not ending up with me. xD
But seriously, I never catch any typos when I read a book unless it messes up a whole sentence's meaning and confuses me. I tend to skip over minor mistakes and add in the missing word as I go along. That's why I'd suck as an editor. xD

I notice it, but it doesn't really bother me every single book that has ever been printed I am willing to bet has either a typo a mispelling or a missing word. The amount of corrections that you have to do with that amount of words must be overwhelming for the editors, how can you possibly expect them to cath all of the mistakes?
Well, considering, once you become familiar with the material that you are working with you tend to catch mistakes less and less. rolleyes

I, too, noticed many typos in Eclipse. But I didn't really think anything of it.

If you find a lot of mistakes in a book you should make a list of them and send them to the editor or the author. When they reprint(send out a new edition of the book) they'll correct the errors. Perhaps a list could be started here and then sent on. I heard of this actually happening before, the librarian at the school I used to go to did this. She went about it by reading through carefully and putting sticky notes on each page with an error. I ask how she submitted the them exactly when I next see her. schmut-lovee okay, well I just had to post this here because I think it could relate..
Have you noticed that Twilight and New Moon are both published by Atom, but Eclipse is published by Little Brown?
I was just thinking that it's probably got the mistakes because it was a different publishing company than the first two..right?
I'm no expert with who publishes and edits or whatever, I'm just too observant. whee
And I'm only halfway through Eclipse, and I'm not so sure if I found any errors.. Knowing me, I would just re-read the sentence over and over and try to make some sense out of it. And if it makes no sense to me, I just assume it's my stupidity and I'd move on..but yeaa.. 3nodding um... Twilight and New Moon are both Little Brown... and Eclipse is too apparently.
