I loved it. When I finished it I wasn't surprised at all why it's one of the most popular books ever.

I thought it was a good rendition of life during/ after the Depression, but it was kinda dull in parts.

I really liked it. I could relate to Scout growing up with Atticus as a parent (my mom's a bit like Atticus) and I liked how there were different parts to the story. It didn't just center around the climax, but had some intresting mini stories which helped develop the characters and give a snap shot of their life.

...birds creep over tin roofs, like criminals with tap shoes...

I thought it was just another dusty classic, but when i started reading it i got sucked in and truly enjoyed it! <3

...stain the glass with windows, extortionate and cold stare...
