Kizuka couldn't help snickering at the two of them. Rather than think it serious, she knew they were playing and.. the bad feelings from before washed away. As Varg spoke, she continued her meal, drinking in the happiness of the moment. Even with such dark things looming on the border of their lives... well she had some doubts that they would ever, truly be at peace. So, to live for these little moments--these glories little interludes between the storms.. It was a good way of being, she thought.
"I'm rather glad you didn't," She admitted, "Had any of the others come along I don't think I could have kept that up." Kizuka licked some blood from her maw, ears flicking this way and that as she considered. "And we do have to give Ushu some credit, Varg.. his heart was in the right place, even if he has a habit of... jumping to conclusions."
The female grinned at her mate, eyes twinkling to see if he'd rise to the bait.
