My Hollow Should I make a symphonic Metal sub forum, would that solve some problems? No, as far as I know Therion is the only band that can be considered pure Symphonic Metal, and they do fit into Heavy Metal pretty well. Pretty much all other Symphonic bands are just another genre with the symphonic just being added in (ie, Symphonic Power, Symphonic Black, etc.).

Good. I didn't really want to. It creates a mess. Blocking the Other Msuic forum and moving all the threads there into the new subforum. ack. a Pain.

Well, you could create a "Other Metal" forum and that would cover Metalcore, avant-garde, industrial, grind (that could just go with death though), etc. And I'd be willing to move the threads.

For metalcore and grind there are some that are metal and some that aren't, and as for industrial theres only a handful of bands that play pure industrial metal, rather than mixed with something else.
