I need to work on getting the stuff packs XP I'm kinda scared to though, because I don't think old CD-ROMS work on Windows Vista emo And eventually when the computer goes kaput i'll have to uprade to the crappyness that is Vista.

My Techie friend says that Vista IS actually good but everyone says it isn't. I'm lost in that whole discussion. =/

I used to play the sims, but it got really complicated and I felt extremely guilty when they were hungry and I couldn't feed them because I had no money. sad

Vista is good. I'm using it right now, and I'm not having any problems. I'm on a laptop, and our computer downstairs has XP, but of the two, I'd say I like vista better. It takes getting used to, is all.

I have Vista and TS2 works just fine on this laptop. As long as you have more than 256MB of RAM (or at least what ever requirements are needed for The Sims 2), then the game should work just fine. EDIT: I forgot to say a good graphics and/or video card may be required because of the graphics on the game.

It takes getting used to, is all. I was playing on my friend's laptop and I like how they now have some better standard games that you can play. :3

But hey... did anyone hear about The Sims 3 coming out?! If you haven't... WHY NOT?! It's only going to be a hundred times better than The Sims 2!
