"Trust me, I have no desire to stay," Ada spat, wrinkling her nose and glaring at the firekin with auburn eyes. Letting out a breath she turned slowly and went over to rub against her cub with her nose. "Come on, Ilori, lets get out of this hell pit." She then began to walk in the opposite direction, moving her wounded body stiffly. She wasn't going to stay around this ******** place. Not when the lions here were clearly out of their minds.

Nukta gave the Firekin one last warning growl as Adanna headed off, only then moving to gently take his son in his jaws, to carry him back the way they'd come to where his brother waited.
To think, Adanna's kin were from a desert too. He hoped they weren't as crazy as the Firekin were, should he ever meet any.

Ilori let his father pick him up, since he felt a little shakey on his own feet anyway. He wanted his brother... and he wanted his mother and father to be alright. And he wanted to stop bleeding.
