Daxelman Sheik026 SuperJawes2112 Sakyh I knew of Dragon Quest for a while...just didn't realise Square made it, lol. Eh, if franchises were damned due to fanboys we wouldn't have Mario, Zelda, FF, KH, or Halo. To just name a few. Aww, I feel loved! blaugh Most FF fanboys don't even realize that Square makes Final Fantasy. Most of them only make the connection when they play Kingdom Hearts and all of these FF elements and characters come up. And in America -- where we get most of the overly sick FF sex pictures from -- Dragon Quest is no king of games. We have Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, and a small outlet of gamers who keep track and play a lot more games, thus diving into other Square franchises. I never tried Dragon Quest, but we advertised an AWFUL lot for a game that sold as few as it seemed. In Japan, it is a megahuge franchise, it's bigger than Final Fantasy over there. That's why DQIX being on the DS was such a big deal. In Japan, this is America, where fat guys try to pass themselves of as the One Winged Angle...... Is the One-Winged Angle acute or obtuse? And actually, I don't think we would have ANY franchises if we killed them off because of their fanbases. I mean, Nintendogs' fanbase is almost exclusively 10-12 year olds, so they're annoying by default. And Guitar Hero's fanbas is all of humanity. Also annoying by default.
