Scyeth's broad grin could only grow as RuiZhi confirmed his theory. "Modded?" he purred, eyes dancing as he ran all the scenarios through his head. Oh, what a wonderful turn of event. "Too bad I left all my games and stuff at home." He had an absolute stack of games at home, of every genre anyone could ever want. His favorite game was Katamari, but hell would have to freeze over before he admitted that. "Left it right beside my surfboard," he added thoughtfully.
"Y'know, I think I'd like to meet this sister of yours sometime," he decided as he eyed the room thoughtfully, wondering where they could stash a Playstation if they were gifted with one. "She sounds like my kinda girl!" Though, he did have to wonder how old (or young) she was. Well, it didn't matter. She was a girl after his own heart, after all. He was sure he could find something to do with her.

"Y-yes, something about a bet..." He murmured and trailed off. She'd probably want to tell the story herself anyway, she often liked such bragging rights. RuiZhi sighed and smiled at Scyeth, amazed by how quickly he jumped from subject to subject. He'd let his new friend find out about his sister on his own - warning him would probably do no good, and she was mostly harmless anyway. Mostly.
RuiZhi inclined his head in thought, before deciding that the new boy would need some inclination of what was going on. While he was sure that the boy could find out on his own (and likely in a very long amount of time, since the Australian didn't seem too concerned about the school itself), it would be a good way to put his best foot forward. "Why don't I show you around the main area? Give you an idea of the school, and maybe we can stop by the mall or..." he waved hand towards Scyeth's bed, "you can find good places to use your 'board.'"

Scyeth was about to question his roommate further about his sister when RuiZhi effectively changed the topic. He had mentioned his beloved skateboard, after all. "Sounds great," he purred, twisting to pull his skateboard off the ground. "Especially that skateboard part," he added, chuckling to himself. The skateboard really was the very best way to get to Scyeth's heart. He tucked the board under his arm and stood, looking over at RuiZhi and waving him with his free arm.
"C'mon!" he said impatiently, already making his way towards the door. He stopped as he got to the other side of the small room, shifting from side to side. "Hey. You wanna try my skateboard while we're walking around?" he offered. It was not something to take lightly, as that skateboard could very possibly be his most prized possession. "She rides like a dream, y'know. Customized." He couldn't help adding that part on. He was so proud of the work he did, even if it was essentially a piece of wood on wheels.
Then it occurred to him. "...can you even ride a board?" he asked, lips curling into a wicked grin.

RuiZhi shook his head at Scyeth, offering a small smile. "I've never tried," he admitted, eyeing the board as though he wouldn't know which way was up on the thing. "Rice fields don't give much in the way of use for those things. That, and I'm studying to be a doctor. I'd rather not have to study on my own broken limbs." That made him chuckle a little as he followed his room mate, still amused by how up-beat the other was.
He opened the door and left the room, motioning for Scyeth to do the same. "You obviously know where the dorms are," he said matter-of-factly, "and you probably passed the Headmaster's office on the way here. The mall is beyond that." RuiZhi waited to see if the older boy had any questions or needed to poke at him about not riding skateboards before they continued. The smile he wore was honest, wondering if he could actually balance fun and school, deciding he wouldn't have much of a choice with his new friend.

Scyeth shook his bed back at RuiZhi, sticking his tongue out. "Dude, I could teach you," he pointed out. He was an expert, after all. He was probably the best skateboarder, no, make that all-around boarder on campus, after all. He bounced on the balls of his heels, shutting the door as he followed after his roommate.
So much to learn, so little time. Scyeth paused and blinked. Like he actually cared, or something. "We should just take a tour of the mall," he purred, setting his board down so he could roll alongside RuiZhi. "We could get posters. Or meet girls." Then he had a better idea. "Let me show you some skateboard tricks!" he crooned, eager to show off.
It was going to be quite a friendship, wasn't it?
