Midnight Sun .. is a book for the serious twilight? -gets a tad confuzzled.-I dont want to sound like,.. a 'retart' D; but what is a 'trilogy' ? And yah,I would read The Host. It seems very interesting.

I don't wan't to be in love,
untill I know the love is true...

Yes, Midnight Sun is the fourth book of the Twilight Series.
A trilogy is the third book in a series. Tri=Three. Get it?

Midnight sun isn't the fourth book, Breaking Dawn is. Midnight is more of a companion novel, since it's just Twilight all over again, except it's from Edward POV, not Bella's.

It's a trilogy?
I guess 3 is sorta her lucky number with books...
But I'm really interested in this new series.
And sci-fi?That's a sudden change but I'm hoping it's a good book I can enjoy

*screams* YES! A TRILOGY!!! WOO HOO. I am sorry but Meyer is an amazing author and I just love her, she just needs to keep em coming, I don't care what it is. The host, twilight, some new set, don't care, keep em coming Stephenie.

I'm very excited to read The Host. Sci-Fi is my favorite genre, and I think Stephenie Meyer will pull it off amazingly.

i dont know what you guys think, but im stoked that its a trilogy, i love stephenies work, and when its only one, that when im finished reading its like ohh.. thats it.. okay.. well. i like the fact that its a trilogy, more to read =) i really hope its going to be action packed with some romance, sort of like twilight.. i actually hope its better than twilight, cause twilight was good, but this could end up being better.

Im glad she is make the Host because not only does it come out of birthday but it shows that she can other different types of book. When the Twight will end, she can keep writing instead of sitting at home doing nothing!! But i think the Host is going to do find! biggrin

I'm really looking forward to The Host, and have had it pre-ordered since January. If you really want to read something else by Stephenie, pick up Prom Nights From Hell. It's actually a collection with four or five stories from different authors (including one by Stephenie) and it was really good. It was a bit...dark, though (much darker than the Twilight series so far) so I wouldn't suggest it for anyone under 14-ish...And, though I do like Twilight and the sequels, I won't say Stehenie Meyer is an amazing author until after I've read and immensely enjoyed The Host. It's one thing to be good in one "universe" of books, but it's another to be able to do it in many different books.

I am actually kind of glad she has taken up a sci-fi (ish) sort of genre. Not because I am a sci-fi fanatic, but because she has such a special ability to make people believe impossible situations. Also, she mentioned that Jane Austen and Orson Scott Card were sort of meshed together in The Host. THATS GREAT! I LOVVEE LOOVVEE Jane Austen's work and I LOOVVEEE O.S.Card's work as well.
