For me it's not about the gold. I don't mind giving out more than i get. I was always a few k down after a couple of days in the CB thread, I like helping people. But I don't like greedy n00bs taking advantage of other gaians kindness.
I think skippers should be banned straight away, if they can't stick to the rules the they shouldn't be alowed to post.
same goes for me, but thats probably because im not questing for gold, but for tickets.. i love huge donations, but it really kills my mood getting the minimum.
i sure would like to know how we can ban people from posting in that topic.
im not sure, but what might work is: a donation class.
if you have proven yourself as a good person, you move up in a class where you are recognized as a good person.
you would post that class in your post and people will notice that.
people who dont have one yet, would need to prove their worth.
skippers would NEVER get in a higher class, so you wouldnt waste gold on them.
i also figured people would fake their class, if people noticed we would use that as a hint that those people do deserve better donations.
a way to counter this is: a class list, where gaians names will be posted in which class they belong. when in doubt, you can just check.
im pretty sure this still needs to be worked out, but its a start..
so if you got idea's how to improve this idea i got, dont be scared to post them. like how to move up/down a class and which classes.
and how to make them, skipper prove as much as possible..
