I've never really had a problem with the 14/16, 18/20 thing...but that's because I'm an 18/20 and everything I try on there pretty much fits right.
Now my bottom is a 22 at least.
I also have problems shopping online 'cause a lot of places say to get a bigger size if you have a larger stomach... my stomach is apparently larger than the rest of me, because while my hips and boobs will fit just perfectly into the smaller size, my stomach won't have it. So I'm always afraid to order online, although if I did I'd probably go with the smaller size, since I wear my clothes tight, anyways.
I've tried on some shirts before, though, and while they fit the rest of me... if they're the kind with some line across the boobs they'll actually cut into my boob, and I'll have a double boob effect going on. My friend who is tiny and a A/B cup (I don't remember which), and I (a D cup) tried on the same shirt and it was hanging off of her and doing the double boob thing for me.
