Here will go the "Stuff to Do" Lists. Only Game Moderators, please.

Banner Making Guide

Rules:
1) All Personal Threads (Journals, PRPs, Housing Commissions, etc) are off limits unless other specified by the thread’s owner.
2) Threads that already have banners do not need new ones.
3) Run the banners by Taro or myself (SkieBorne) before putting them into place.
4) Follow the guidelines – there are specific themes and feels for the banners.
5) all the posts for that page must be the same background, with matching font but different text based on the contents for that post (See a TOC)
6) for stand alones, they must follow the flow/colour scheme of other threads in empyreans (Essence/magic/textures etc etc)
7) in general, try to stay away from just plan rectangular banners – interesting shapes, colours, etc etc are more appealing and texture and brush work are preferred, as opposed to very bold iamges.
8 ) Those threads without Table of Contents are not ready to receive banners yet – please wait until an official ToC has been posted in said thread

Guide:

The following banners/threads need to be done (a list of those already being handled by Taro and myself will be provided after so that there is no confusion). Also, please take a look at the images and information found in these threads to get a feel for the atmosphere of that location, it’ll help with getting the banners perfect.~

~ Professor’s Thread – Top Banner Only
~ Tips for Beginners – Naming Banner
~ Upcoming Events – (Top Banner Done) Banners for the bolded headings in the existing posts

~ Weapon’s Smithery – Top Banner, Matching set for the titles found in the ToC

The Staff Positions:
These are the official Staff of the Empyreans Shop. If you aren't sure who to talk to, this acts as a quick list. This is also a bit of a checklist for those who hold positions so they can check up on all they've got to do.

RP Manager: The RP Managers will be those with extensive knowledge and experience playing in Empyreans. They'll also have some OOC knowledge, and access to more knowledge, so that they can better answer questions posed by other players. Their biggest, and most important job role is not one that has come into play yet, but that will as more Empyreans become Ones and higher: There are some aspects of game play, such as certain spells and items, that are limited by needed confirmation or permission from an RP Manager. The RP managers will look at the scenario and use unbiased judgment to decide if it would be safe to use said restricted item/spell etc in that circumstance. These things are limited in this way, either because they are very pwoerful (and thus we must avoid imbalances in the game and god-moding (heaven forbid!!)), or in-story very rare, and we want to keep them as something special. RP Managers must have decent creativity, and be able to deal with potential spats between players with a completely unbiased, fair view. They are also in-charge of directing serious matters to a Game Moderator, if they are unsure.

Maintenance Crew: While I've offered many maintenance positions disguised in Empyrean Jobs, so that your Empyreans earn Credits, there have not been many bites to these lines, and not a lot of feedback on so far from those who have taken on these sorts of jobs. The Maintenance Crew are encouraged to take positions of editing, banner-making, thread formatting etc in-character with their Empyreans. When others who have taken maintenance positions have completed threads for editing/banner creation etc, they will send the finished copies to the Maintenance Crew for review and posting. For this reason, Maintenance Crew will be given increased power in the Guild so they are able to edit things themselves. It's not an official part of their job, since they're reviewing the maintenance jobs, but double checking the number of Credits being earned by players submitting is a great plus.

Game Moderator: This position will be extremely limited. I am the main Game Moderator, obviously. And I'd like you all to welcome SkieBorne as my official second-in-command. I'm considering possibly hiring one more, depending on applications. The Game Moderators are privy to an excess of world information that they must keep seperate from their player knowledge, as well as keep secret from other players. This is crucial. NO LEAKS or I'll be an unhappy Taro. The Game Moderators will work with me to organize and run the Monthly events, as well as help to steer the overall metaplot, which is now slowly rolling into gear (As hinted in a few of the past events). If you have a question about anything, you can feel free to direct your query to an RP Manager, or directly to a Game Moderator. We're very nice, so please don't be shy!

Enforcers: The Enforcers are those who understand the mechanics and rules of the Empyrean Gameplay and World. It will be these helpful players who will make sure that everything stays within the structure and confines of the world's possibilities and help/correct those having trouble with the game mechanics. Skie and I have been working hard to set up the official game mechanics, which watchful players may have noticed to have begun cropping up in some of the Teacher's threads and Shops. We've been testing it out, and so far it's been working well. We'll give tutorials to all Enforcers so that they can in turn help the other players who are less accustomed to Table-top roleplaying systems.
