Just finished the original book today, and it's going on the favorites shelf. I know there's a current movie of it, but if anyone wants to talk about that version as well, I'll make a post in Etc. That being said: Thoughts on the book?

I have seen the movie but i have never read the book. i thought the movie was pretty good.

It's by Annette Curtis Klause. Yeah, and I'd say get the original version instead of the movie re-make of the book, just in case they changed anything.

i've read the orinaginal book i like it better than the movie.. I don't think she should hav ended up w/ adien in the movie its maks it a "happily ever after" that why i like the book so much cause it wasn't like that

It's funny because in my college english class I just wrote a comparison paper on the differences between the movie and the book.
Of course, I liked the book better. The movie made me want to scream in frustration. They are very very un-alike, and it made me very unhappy. sad

i really liked the book. i liked how it ended, though i felt sorry for aiden. i don't really want to see the movie based on the previews i have seen. it made me mad because it didnt seem anything like the book. the characters looked nothing like i would have pictured them!
