Kay so I'm Christian but I've never been baptized before. I want to but I feel sort of uncomfortable doing it with everyone at my church watching, since im not very outgoing, get embarrese incredibly easily and dont know everyone at my church. i just feel it would be easier if i was an adult or if i was a baby(too late for that now though). so ive been putting it off. Does anyone know what its like? thanks!!!!

I have been saved for 3 1/2 years, and I've never been baptized. And I don't think you should be baptized until God asks you to be. It's part of your relationship with God. God will ask you to be baptized, and that's when you should do it. no sooner, no later.

here is the main question- do you know what baptism means?
other questions- do you strongly believe? do you think your ready? is god calling you to be baptized? do you believe that jesus is gods son and that god is your lord and savior?

Well I had the same problem acually its fun!!!! Hes a tip do it in the winter time because the tub is very very warm like a hot tub allmost. Just do it. Its fun. smile smile smile smile smile smile smile Good Luck God Bless You.

I was baptized on superbowl sunday. lol. So I knew there wouldn't be too many people there...or so i thought. we did, like almost 30 baptisms that night. and we just had another baptism last night, and my friend Chris got baptized. It's not just if God's calling you to do it, it's if you're ready for it. To get baptized is to start anew. By making the desicion to do it, you're throwing out all dirty deeds out the window, and leaving a part of you behind. It is a big desicion. But man, I will tell you, when I finally did it, I never felt so clean before in my life.

Does anyone know what its like? thanks!!!! You can only be baptized when you make the decision to do so. Go to the topic named "Baptism-is it needed to get to heaven?" and read what I wrote. (i don't wanna write it all out again) Baptism is absolutely necessary to go to heaven.

I got baptized, i was nervous at first too but i just dealt with it. At my church being baptized means you accept that Christ is you Savior and baptism is just publicly announcing that. To become accepted into God's kingdom, you need to acknowledge that Christ is your savior (in your heart). Baptism is the same thing except its something like a public announcement. domokun
