My dream home would definitely be very Victorian but it is difficult for me to describe. I have ideas in my head about its appearance and location and I don't even know if such a place exists! A place of privacy, large, with a generous personal garden, and the inside would have nice pleasant things, wooden floors and windows... there's a lot I can think of. I have yet to find a place like that, well, some of my relatives live in similar homes, but I sincerely hope to live in such a place one day. It's just beautiful! I'd wake up everyday surrounded by what I love!

One of those little cottages, with a really wild garden that makes the local kids wonder if it's haunted. One with nice hardwood floors and lots of open space, with a little table out the back where I could take my tea in the morning. It would have one of those hanging swings in the front yard, from a great big weeping willow tree. There would be big windows, and at least one cushioned windowseat. The inside would be a bit more modern, though, with shelves all over the bedroom walls filled with books and plushies, and all sorts of random baubles. And a good stereo.

. . . .Dunno how I'd find something like that, though. sweatdrop

Why, thank you. heart

Yeah, my aunt has a nice weeping willow in her yard, and I've always loved it.

I have one in my parent vacation home, I'm not sure on the type of tree though, but its really, really, really big and its formed so perfectly, steps, chairs (lol as close as a tree can get to them) a niche, all formed by itself, it the best.

Wow, it's beautiful. Sounds/looks like the type of house I wish to have someday, only I'd like to live somewhere a little bit smaller than that.

I was driving through the Montlake area in Seattle yesterday, and there were so many beautiful brick houses that I saw, and wanted to live in. They were good sized, not too small, but not really large, either, and the brick was laid really prettily. There's a house really similar to them a couple miles from where I live, and it has a nice hedge around it, with a pretty garden. If I had that house, I'd want an even larger garden.

I love those Italino style houses with the widow's walk on top and all the beautiful wraught iron fencing >w<

Victorians are nice, but its baicially whats I've lived in for the last ten years of my life, so some change would be nice.

Perhaps one of those pretty French mansions though... with all the marble and crystal.

Would like a garden... but then I would need someone else to take care of the plants as I think I have a black thumb.

lucky! I hope you will post some pics, it is like the pretty sunshiney kind or classic, or gothic? Myself, i want a gothic one, dark grounds those huge stone angels about the gigantic garden, and so much more, but that will cost alot! xp
