Did anyone notice that the Alchemists that kill the sins usually have a problem with that sin? For example, Edward kills Greed, and yet Edward wants his original body back even though it was taken for the Equivilent exchange? He also desires the philosopher's stone quite badly...greedy, eh? And, in the manga, Roy destroys Lust... but that one's self-explanatory. Any thoughts?

In the tv series ed kills: envy, greed, and sloth. I could see that he does have issues in those areas but what about his shortness issue which could be related to pride, his way of getting into fights quick related to wrath, also with his need to get his and his brother body back it could be seen as he lusts for his body to be whole, and well i can't think of so ething for gluttany but i'm sure it's they.

in short i think in distroying the sins the FMA chacters they had to face the sin in themselves before they could distroy the sin in person.

So i both agree and dissagree with you on that note

I don't know...Roy seems to have a big issue with Pride...as for Envy and Sloth, Envy I can see, as Edward wants his body back so he can be like everyone else...but Sloth I have a problem with...As for Lust, I see your point, but Roy definitely has a bigger problem with that sin wink
I do agree with you, however... biggrin

Um i dont really see that, i mean if it does effect them it wares off because in the movie Ed doesnt really show those bad .......trates, i mean even back in the alchemy world he says something like "We cant stop living like were the only ones that matter" i thnk that shows caring for others rather then greed and he nvr really shows envy for those who have things he doesnt, he nvr really complains about his automail and that other cheap crap he got in our world and sloth well...idk bout that cause im not really sure what sloths problem is

actually the two in the tv series that he does kill is greed and sloth he dosen't kill envy. At the end of the series Envy kills Ed and he goes through the gate to his other "body" but then s killed on that side and Al uses the stone to bring him back. But anyway Envy goes through the gate so he can get to Hoenheim and turns into a dragon in the process thats the last you see of him until the movie and he does there. But other then that correction I agree with you

Well, given that Ed and Al created Sloth, I think it's justifyable that Ed kills her. And technically, Ed does not kill Envy, since Envy changes forms and goes beyond the gate and becomes the catalyst for the gate to Amestris in the movie....

I think Edward is kinda greedy.. maybe xD Hey look, WHITE spoilers! =D
In the end, [in the series] Mustang kills Pride, which is kinda ironic :B

as Edward wants his body back so he can be like everyone else...
I thouht that Ed could have cared less, that he wanted to get Al's body back above all. He only promised Al to get his body back because (well, in unsophisticated terms) Al made him promise.

Mustang killing Pride would definetely fit - ironic how Roy kills the man in position that he wants (Fuhrer), but after the fight stops being so intent on his previous goal (he goes and lives alone onstead of staying in the army). He conquered Pride in more ways than one.

I wish that anime had been a bit more faithful to the manga. I'd really love to see Lin in the anime.
