I hate getting fitted for uniforms because it's so boring and we have to go all the way up the staircase to the bathroom and once we come back down they say that we have to get you another one. xD
Our jackets ( and I don't mean blazers I mean thick material jackets ) are really heavy and they make us take them four at a time in both hands (two in each) and put the on the tractor trailer.
I have to get refitted this year because I lost weight since the Winter Parade...
But it's all good because my mom is one of the band mommies that fits people so she gets people in and out really quick.
It's really funny to see some of the newbies try to tie their shoe in the uniform because it's impossible. xD
And my brother is a drum major this year so he gets a tux and he had to go get fitted for one today with the other two drum majors...
One thing I don't understand is why they got the only female drum major a suit as well. xD
The female drum majors before her had "vampire dresses" because they were red and black, not to mention very tight around the waist.
So now everyone in the band is afraid that she'll be mistaken for a pretty boy. xD

it's embarassing when they take measurements and then yell them out.

I tend to be hard to fit since I'm so small. The uniform mom even had to specially order shoes for me sweatdrop

the uniform mom said well your the easiest freshman so far until i had to put on the shako and they didnt have large gloves for me to try on . wink

uniform fitting sucked this year because it's my first year marching. the first two uniforms I tried on were so small I couldn't even put them on. apparently I look a lot skinnier than I actually am!

 I'm easy to fit ^^ I only had to try on 2 pairs of pants and the first jacket I tried on fit.
Gloves and shoes weren't an issue since I tried on some "example" ones before I bought them. Yeah we buy our gloves and shoes.
The guy who was helping the band mom fit the shackos apparently didn't fit me right -_- My shacko was too small. I found that out at the first football game when I put all my hair up there. On the day I got fitted, not all of it was in there. So you could say it was both of our faults ^_^;; I'm getting a new one before the next game. At the first game, I thought it was going to fall off >.<
By the way, I'm a freshman XP
