WTF! the fight on emo never ends. everytime you get one to stop calling themselves emo like 3 more pop up. i'm tired of seeing them like "i'm really emo cuz i'm depressed about whats happening in the world." (which is basically copying the end of the lyric book from under the cork tree) when u try to talk sense into them they're like "emo MEANS emotional".

she deleted some of my commets but here most of the current arguement i'm in. she's an idiot so, it a one sided battle.

Emo and depression are two different things. depression is a feeling, emo is music.
Emo MeanS EMOTIONAL. and depression is a PART Of Being Emo. Geez.
If You Listen To Emo Music That Dosen't MAKE you Emo.
*sigh* emo is short for emotive hardcore, a sub genre of punk. before i go into my full rant, how old r u? it seems every 13-15 year old in america is "emo"

emo is a genre of music. period. you can't just takes words and give them whatever meaning you want. And is emo is "emotional" than how come every "emo" kid only talks about one emotion, depression? btw, i didnt give myself this label, ppl were calling me it long before i knew what emo was. at first i hated it cuz i only knew of the stereotypes.(like you) but i learned what true emo was and accepted it. i'm just saying don't be "emo" cuz ur depressed, just say ur depressed.

Emo means "Emotionally Driven Hardcore Punk" or "Emotive Hardcore" (which is the same thing).
