You know youre a band nerd when you name you instrument and your reed
And also when you listen to a song and sing the notes in stead of the words,then go home and play it. ( i tried this with solja boy,someone paid me 10 bucks to play it,and someone else paid 15 bucks to stop)

you know you're a band geek when someone insults the size of your instrument and ou beat them up for it ( I take insults to my bari sax very seriously)

You know your a band geek when you sit in the bleachers at the competition you are hosting and ask kids from other bands what instrument they play until you find someone who plays the same as you.
Did it..found only three people out of like twenty bands that play the mellophone.

vampiregirl337 When you suggest to enter a person from each section in a talent show... Wearing a duck costume and quack your parts. (I have suggested this... I got weird looks)  I'd do it but that's just me

When you start humming that song while you're in class (or at home or anywhere else) and your friend who's also in the same class as you (and in band/orchestra) starts humming or singing it with you too

You Know You're a band nerd to be when. . . ((I R teh middle schooler and not allowed in marching band yet T.T))
-You find yourself crushing on a marching band member ((Guilty))
-You can play sweet child of mine on the lute and wrote the notes out yourself (The beginning solo)((Guilty))
-Screw guitar hero, you'd rather play that new peice the director just assigned ((Slightly guilty, I have solo music to practise too.))
-Your classmates (who plan on dropping out of band before high school, weirdos) yell at you constantly because you ask the director "Can we play that up to full tempo now?" ((very guilty))
-You get all those weird music puns the director tells that no one else gets.
-You find yourself staring in awe at the band uniforms, wishing one day to own one. ((guilty))
-You play in the pit orchestra a year early ((Hope to be guilty as soon as auditions come!))
-You've read almost all these pages and thought to yourself; "Wow, I wish I was that cool." ((guilty))

I don't know if this was said, but:
You know you're a band nerd when...
...someone yelling "I BROKE MY G-STRING" doesn't sound dirty at all to you. [Guilty of being the one yelling.]
...you wear broken parts of your instrument as jewelry. [I turned my broken string into a bracelet i wear everyday]

Bolded things are things I've done. I suck at Guitar Hero, anyway. xd And ugh, people in my band can never play at full speed. Heck, I accidentally play it faster than full speed. xd And our high school's uniforms are amaaazing. And I think all band people are cool. xd
