After encountering all five trees, McCowboy returned to the original sign post and was rewarded with +1 level and some loot. He...didn't know exactly what that meant, he was never much of a gamer, but it seemed to be a good thing. He then followed the signs to look for an exit to these woods. The next tree decided to assault him for it. At first, Rodnent thought it might have been an accident, but even so his heartrate went up. He stumbled backwards in fear, rubbing his face, and it hit him again, "D-Don't! Barth once again found himself in a dream that was not exactly his. He couldn't say that it was nicer than the running dream. He would almost say, in fact, that it was equally disturbing.
After having the quest explained to him, and the other rules of the place he was in, he made some selections. An identity. A job (although as a rule he didn't even care for the word. Job.) He went, as suggested, to do some exploring.
But he did not, exactly, care for it. He did not much like any of this.
The first tree he found had a lot of useless signs.
Wandering and running had a lot in common, minus urgency. Zar wasn't sure how he'd actually go about finding Barth in this bizzare landscape, or if it was anything to do with the other demon to begin with. It certainly was not in line with his tastes, at least in the colour department. The pirate outfit perhaps was a little nearer.
The longer he wandered the more anxious he became, a state of being he was very familiar with.
Spotting a set of teeth up a tree made him stop in his tracks and stare.
It certainly had a point, he was lost. He had almost always been lost.
