Kýojin tilted his head thoughtfully, frowning slightly. "Reading, martial arts, running... drawing, sometimes," he said quietly, his tone shy.

"I too like reading and drawing. Writing and swimming are also a couple other things I like to do," Rosalyn said as she watched Jin. She found that is shy tone was actually kind of cute. Without her realizing it her thumb ran over the back of his hand.

Kýojin tilted his head thoughtfully as a trickle of energy flickered momentarily up his spine. He didn't seem to notice the fact that Rosalyn's thumb stroked the back of his hand though he was keenly aware of it. He glanced around, noticing nobody else other than the steam of the Jacuzzi several yards away.

Rosalyn followed Jin's gaze as he looked around the place. "Is something wrong?" She asked as she turned her gaze back to him. She was sure he had noticed that they were alone. That nobody else was even close. They were all busy doing their own thing.

Kýojin shrugged one shoulder slightly. "This is the nicest place I've been to. It's better than most of the places I've ended up or alleyways," he said quietly. He didn't mention to her that he had slept in the sewers a few times, though it hadn't been pleasant for him.

"Well this is a safe haven for all of us," Rosalyn said with a small smile. "You will always be welcome here so long as no harm is meant to anyone residing here." Her head tilted to the side slightly. "Every city has one of these homes if I remember correctly. You just need to know where to look is all. You never have to sleep in an alley again."

Kýojin cocked an eyebrow, but didn't comment on her sensing his thoughts. He inhaled, glancing momentarily towards the Jacuzzi, hearing the low bubbling of the jets beneath the water, though what he noticed wasn't the sounds, but two differentyet similar scents. One made him think of the sea with a subtle undertone that he recognized as the fresh scent of aloe. The other scent was stronger, holding hints of something sweet with the more noticeable scent of vanilla, though there was a subtle honey scent mingled with it. He suspected from the very slight chemical scent that it was most likely to be body lotion or shampoo, though he didn't immediately comment on the scents.

Rosalyn watched him silently for a moment, a small smile forming on her face. He was so busy taking in the sights around him. It felt a little strange, yet comforting, to be holding his hand. She had not done anything like this in a long time. She noticed him looking towards the jacuzzi. "Do you want to go in there," she asked as she moved slightly forward without realizing that she had done so.

Kýojin blinked momentarily, blushing slightly. "I have never seen one... usually the places I've been would make Boot Camp look like a day spa," he murmured. He didn't notice that Rosalyn had moved closer to him, though the scents of her shampoo and body lotion grew slightly stronger.

"Well you should try. It's nice and warm in there." Rosalyn said as she moved around Jin, still keeping a hold of his hand. "The hot water is meant to relax your muscles and make you feel better. It has always been one of my favorite things in this world." She tried to ignore the small tingling feeling that ran up her arm as she brushed against his when she went past him.

Kýojin focused as he levitated out of the water, small wisps of steam rising from his skin though he knew it would surprise Rosalyn that he'd unintentionally spun, caught, and hugged her close in one fluid movement that to anyone watching would have seemed more like a dancing movement as he landed on the concrete edge of the pool before letting her go while unconsciously keeping a gentle grip on her hand.

Rosalyn gasped softly as Jin caught her up into a hug when he levitated from the water. Just as soon as he had a hold of her, he let her go. She hardly dared to believe that just for a moment she felt safe there in his arms. She didn't say anything about it as their hands stayed clasped. She just concentrated on the steam from the jacuzzi as she led him over to it.

Kýojin had noticed her gasp, but assumed it was from the revelation of his flight abilities. "I suspect that the Hunters are far more entrenched among humanity than you realize, as they used military contacts to create what they thought would be their ultimate weapon. They infused an unknown genetic sample they'd discovered with the known genetic material of several mutants, amongst them a cryomancer as well as two brothers known to manipulate kinetic and concussive energies. They also added the genetic material of a mutant known to absorb life energy and memories through skin contact. There were two children created this way," he said quietly. He knew his normally expressive voice was an empty monotone, as was his emotions in that moment. He suspected that Rosalyn would realize precisely how he knew so much about those children... BECAUSE HE HAD BEEN ONE OF THEM.

Rosalyn knew instinctively that Jin had been one of those children. She sighed softly as she stopped in front of him and looked up at him. Hesitantly she reached up and touched his cheek gently. "We will aim to destroy these places and all records of the experiments that have been done. It is wrong to experiment on anyone or anything. Humankind are always looking for ways to make themselves better, more elite. Why everyone cannot be happy with who they already are I will never understand." She not only spoke of mankind, but of her own family. She knew that she didn't have to come right out and say it.

Kýojin unconsciously exhaled in relief, unaware he'd even done so as a faint smile flickered over his lips. "I know of at least three bases I've already taken out for good, though I know for sure of at least four others and probably quite a few I haven't found out about yet," he said quietly, glancing at the Jacuzzi. He wasn't sure what it was, but there was something about Rosalyn that he found highly calming.
