What I want to see are the shapes in the dark. What I want to hear are footsteps as they hesitate.  What I want to know is where I really belong. Rumia continued to eat she had gotten a steak raw if the school had anything going for it they new how to get the right chunk of meat off a cow, as Genji told her story she decided not to blurt in how she herself was trapped in a room robbed of her powers and torment for the last few years, also that she had died twice already. "Yeah atleast you were able to get away" Rumia replied between mouthfuls of food, When Genji mentioned about how weird the group was she shrugged "We're in a school of monsters so I don't see the issue, I wasn't really planning on making friends I just want to get strong so I can get revenge on some one who direly needs it" Rumia stated before taking another bite "Though I guess having a few friends won't kill me" She added assuring the two that yes she would be their friend

"they say you should never trust a snake...."
Orochi was up high on one of the shelves when he noticed Hotaru come in. He was about to open his mouth to say something when he noticed a boy trailing in behind her. The snake demon smiled knowingly and returned to organizing the row of books he had been attending to, giving what he assumed where two love birds a little alone time, even though he was situated directly above them and was thus eavesdropping on everything they where saying. He rose a brow as the boy began talking about a magic book he was reading, and suddenly began chanting a spell incantation outloud. "wait!" he called down, recognizing the spell he was calling out, though he was to late. The boy suddenly summoned a sheild around them, bumping the adjacent shelves and knocking Orochi off, causing him to plumit all the way down to where Hotaru and Judal where sitting, which from where he was on the shelf was several stories. Thankfully he managed to shoot a few snakes out to catch himself before he splatted on the ground, leaving him dangling a few inches above the ground next to Hotaru and Judal. "please refrain from reciting spell incantations in the library, I'd imagine as a spellcaster you'd know well enough that activating random spells in the middle of a crowded room was a bad idea" Orochi said, staring at Judal with a bemused look in his eyes. Suddenly a white snake slithered from his robe and snatched the book out of Judal's hands before he could do more damage. "there are designated rooms for practicing magic as well as the training field outside, please make use of them instead if you need to work on your spell casting" he told him, using the snake to gently bonk Judal on the head with the book.

Taro chuckled a bit when Hotaru hopped off his lap. "ehe, sorry you just seemed comfortable so I figured I'd let you stay" he said jokingly, not wanting her to feel awkward or anything. Suddenly the bell rang before the could commence with the lesson, had the fight really taken up that much time? Oh well no use in questioning it now. "jeez I'm starved, nothing works up an appetite like good ol' teen angst. Lets go" he said, standing up and stretching his arms. He looked over to Hotaru to invite her, maybe lift her spirits a bit from the fight, but she was already halfway through the door. "hey Hotaru..." he muttered, starting to head after her. However when he got to the door and looked out into the hall he saw Judal already coming to her aide. It irked him a bit, but Taro was able to admit when he wasn't needed, so he reluctantly left her in his care, instead turning back to the others. "hey guys, lets go get something to eat eh?" he said, motioning for Talon, Ari, and Shifra to follow him as he marched off to the cafeteria.

Hibachi spent the entire duration of class festering in a quiet, seething rage. Which was alleviated only slightly by seeing Hotaru run out of class without her friends like an attention seeking cry baby. Ofcourse her friends all flocked to see if she was ok, blind to the obvious mind games the little hussy was playing, pretending to be hurt just so people would feel bad for her. Atleast knowing she was right about the Trampire made her feel a little better. She once again found herself being hoisted up by Trent, carried off like a limp sack of potatoes. When she was finally able to move again Hibachi jumped off Trent's shoulder and crossed her arms. "so what? I got in a fight the first 15 minutes I got here, or do you not remember how we met?" she said defiantly, not knowing why Trent was so upset, unless ofcourse he wanted to protect his mistress. "and that whore had it coming! She's always playing the innocent victim while cozying up to every guy she sees! And you've been going out of your way to take her side on everything, and I'm sick of it! She has everyone fooled, but I can see through her like glass." she spat with utter contempt. When he turned away from her eyes glowed so bright they resembled purple coals. Suddenly she leaned forward and sunk her fangs into Trent's arm in a snap fit of rage, injecting him with one of her poisons. "Apologize!" she ordered. "get on your knees and beg for my forgiveness, and promise me you'll never even look at that blood sucking harlot again!" she demanded, crossing her arms and turning her back to him. "or else I won't give you the antidote" she threatened "and before you get cocky just know I mixed garlic into the poison, so your vamprism won't protect you" she said, that particular concoction one of the various methods she had devised to kill Trent if needed, and now she would use it to secure his loyalty and keep him away from Hotaru for good.

Shaizen tooked the water bottle and drank some. You can always teach me..., I mean if you want, he said looking away with a blush on his face. He looked annoyed. It's not like I want to learn from you though, When he said that he felt his power was lame, but then mentioned dragons, Shaizen looked at him with sparkles in his eyes. That's awe-. CHAN? he shouted angrily, but then eased down trying to ignore the fact he either called him a girl, or a child. He stuck his tongue out at the male and finally spoke on his question. Well I basically trace things to keep myself safe from anything. Much like art, he said as he drew the shape of two ice cream cones in the air. They suddenly came to life and dropped in both of their hands. But that sadly isn't enough to keep me safe by myself so I'm super strong and I have a large hammer to keep me safe. Judal looked at Hotaru and back at his book. When she mentioned catching something on fire, he chuckled along with her. He didn't realize the damage he had accidentally did with the spell until he heard the bookshelf go down. When Orochi came down to scold him and hit him on the head with the book, his face turned red. Gomen, Gomen, Gomen, he said as he stood up in the direction of the fallen shelves. His wand appeared in his hand as he pointed it to the fallen shelves. Locomoter Levate, he chanted as the shelves and books began to float back to where they originally were. Forgive me, he said as he returned back to the table he once sat at. We-We don't need to leave. We can stay. Can I at least... read with you-You know to avoid more damage, he said as he looked away nervously, trying to avoid eye contact with Orochi.

Trent listened to her as he was turned around, listening to her point which did make sense. The moment he was about to turn back to her and apologize, due to her obvious jealousy, (Although he still was going to scold her about calling Hotaru a vampire whore) she violently attacked his arm with her face! Right when he felt the fangs on his arm, he gasped in pain, realizing the familiar scent of garlic before she could even say something about it. He fell to the ground after she released her jaws from his skin, gripping onto his hurt arm as if it was broken. When she yelled at him for forgiveness, he stared angrily at her gritting his teeth in pain as she turned around. Like hell I will, he said breathing heavily. He wrapped his tail around his bicep and pulled tight as he struggled to rise from the ground and walk the direction of the infirmary. If-If... you're going to-to act.. like this... then do-don't both-, as he was trying to get the last words out, he began to fall to the ground, fainting right in the middle of the hallway.

Taro smirked and hooked an arm around Talon's neck as they walked. "you know I was always curious about something. How are you supposed to eat if your made of water?" he asked, water not exactly being the most corrosive substance so it left the question how he was supposed to break down and digest food. "I mean, are you like able to make working organs or something to digest it? or does the food just kinda float around inside you? If you ate a bunch of vegetables and pasta would your insides turn into chicken noodle soup or something?" he asked, imagining the remains of whatever he ate floating around inside the next time Talon turned into water, making him shudder a bit as that seemed really gross. "you know what, maybe I don't want to know" he muttered, moving up to the cafeteria line, grabbing a plate of lobster and smoked salmon, two of his favorites. "man they have a really impressive selection here don't they?" he said. Before he had thought he'd have to get used to low quality crap, but some of the meals here where actually better than the stuff he used to eat back when he was working full time.

Hibachi turned and glared down at him when he refused to apologize. He tried to get up to his feet and walk away, only to collapse after a few steps. Her eyes turning cold she crouched down in front of him and grabbed a fist full of hair and yanked his head up, staring into his unconscious face. "don't bother what? saving your life? fine then, but remember you made the decision, not me" she said dropping him back down and standing up, dusting her pants off. "trust me, I don't joke about stuff like this, so if you thought I was just gonna cave and give you the antidote anyways your a fool. That's whats wrong with you, you think sticking to your pride will get you through life, but all it's gonna do is end it early" she spat. "no one cares about how much of a tough defiant man you are, in the end of the day all that matters is survival, if you can't understand that then your better off dying anyways" she said darkly, showing a much more sinister side to her than before, a result of her training by Grenga. At the end of the day for as much affection she showed Trent, it was trivial for her to turn those feelings off and essentially attempt to murder him without a second thought. The only people she was truly loyal to was her mother, and those her mother told her to be loyal to, and Trent was neither.

Talon chuckled when Taro began questioning how he was able to eat. When he got grossed out, he began to burst out with laughter. I can create my own organs since basically I'm nothing but water; that way I can eat normally, but that takes too much energy at a time, so I eat liquid food whenever I don't feel like putting all that energy into just one organ. That's why this morning I was about to eat... some... suspicious liquid, he said a bit afraid of whatever it was though. When Taro grabbed a plate of lobster and smoked salmon, Talon froze. He knew that he was gonna have to get used to having his friends eating fish around him. He shuddered as the male walked off with the plate that was once a living swimming creature. He pouted as he grabbed a bowl of soup and walked to the direction of where the group would sit at. When he got a glimpse of the fish Taro had again he whimpered. That could have been Umi's friend, he whimpered afterwards.

As Hibachi planted his face back onto the ground, she would feel something grab onto her ankle. Trent would then rise up from the floor and attempt to throw the girl in the air. He luckily wasn't as sensitive to garlic, which could still kill him if his other form had awaken out, and also he was lucky that Hibachi was also mixed with nekomata, so the kill time of her poison that was received from Grenga. He then knew that he needed to get to the infirmary fast because although his vampire form was immune to poison, if he reverted to it, he would die in an instant due to the garlic injected. If Hibachi was thrown, Trent would conjure up his scythe and rip a hole in the air to create a portal to the infirmary. If you think you can rid this world of me that fast, you're an even dumber snake than I anticipated. Enjoy your lunch alone; I don't have time for people that are willing to kill me, he said as he sounded much better than before. He acted as though he was unconscious to test her, but that just only proved him to be angry and pissed off at the girl. The only one willing to be her friend as of now, proved to despise her at the moment.

Taro nodded as Talon explained how he ate. He supposed that made sense, after all the point of eating food was to gain energy, not waste it. "man that sucks, having to have all your food blended down to eat it" he said shaking his head. He glanced back at Talon as he headed to the table, wondering why he suddenly froze up like that. By the time Talon sat down Taro was already digging in to the salmon, taking time to savor every bite as well as to make sure he didn't swallow any bones. When Talon whimpered something about the fish being Umi's friend Taro raised a brow and set his fork down. "I somehow doubt your tank born pet fish was swimming around with salmon in Alaska" he said, taking another bite without hesitation or regret. "besides if I hadn't eaten it someone else would have, that's just how the food chain works. You can't just not eat because your afraid of somehow hurting someone's feelings" he said, motioning to his bowl of soup. "for example, there are all sorts of tree spirits and Rogin and other plant creatures, who's to say those vegetables in your soup weren't their friends? Or the chicken stock, are you worried about offending avians because it was made from a bird?" he asked. "or should I not drink water because you and Ari are water elementals? Or should I avoid anything with minerals in it because Shifra's a rock golem?" he asked, continuing to prove his point. "everyone is eaten by someone, and getting upset over one specific thing only makes you look like a hypocrite for thinking everything else is ok" he told him. In this world nearly everything was sentient to some degree, so if you really stressed over stuff like that you'd just starve to death. "personally I think Umi's buddy is pretty delicious though. Though I think I prefer mr. Lobster" he said, cracking open the lobster and taking a bite. "He died so that I may live, as nature intended, and he did so deliciously" he said with a small chuckle, obviously not taking it very seriously.

Hibachi glanced down in confusion as she felt something grab onto her ankle. The last thing she had time to do was comically tilt her head to the side before being tossed up into the air, hitting the ceiling hard and plopping back down on the ground, clutching the back of her head which had slammed against the ceiling when he threw him. She looked up at Trent with glowing eyes and shuddered, though not from pain. "oh Trent...your so strong..." she cooed, melting for him like putty. As he disappeared into the portal, Hibachi immediately made her way to the infirmary to intercept him. When she arrived she'd throw her arms around Trent and nuzzled into his neck. "oh Ranty! I knew that much wouldn't be enough to kill you!" she said, almost as if she had been testing him the whole time (she hadn't) but getting manhandled had made her so happy she didn't sweat those details. "you know, if you give me a little more of that tough love I may still consider giving you the antidote. Plus can't make an antivenom without a sample of mine anyways, so either way you need it" she cooed, sticking out her cheek towards him.
//////////////////////////////////////// (true fact, in order to make antivenom for snake bites you need a sample of venom for that type of snake, and since Hibachi is the only snake demon of her particular subspecies at the school....get punchin)

Talon nodded. Yeah, it can suck. When Taro was attacking the fish and explaining how it wasn't Umi's friend, he gave him half a smile. Umi's no ordinary fish though, he said until he made his point about the whole being offended thing. When he got to the point about not drinking any water for Talon's and Arisu's sake, he laughed out unable to contain himself. Good point, he said as he dipped his spoon into his soup and taking a sip of it. He tried not to make eye contact with the lobster he was devouring along with the salmon that had obviously been destroyed. Anyways, do you know what class we'll be going to ne-, before he could finish his sentence, he heard the sound of surfing heading towards them. They would see Umi floating on top of a small wave on the floor heading towards them. Luckily, the water was evaporating behind it as the fish past. When it got close it stopped near Talon's leg to stare up at the two. I'm hungry, the fish said to the two in their minds. Here, lemme get you something to-, before he could finish he noticed a scale missing from the jeweled fish. ... I'll be right back, Taro, he said as he picked up the water the fish was surfing on forcing Umi to float on top. He had then went to the direction of the two's dorm, obviously upset about something now.

Trent continued to walk away knowing damn well the snake was following him. He didn't look back, avoiding eye contact as he was really angry at the snake girl. When she wrapped her arms around him, he rolled his eyes, listening to her obvious lie. You mixed poison and garlic on a neko vampire. It's kinda obvious you did that to get me to die, unless you saved it for Hotaru, but that's right, all you would have needed is garlic then, right? he said the last part with sarcasm and a hint of annoyance. When she mentioned Plus couldn't make an antivenin meaning he had no choice but to listen to her, he scoffed. You obviously do not know Plus then. He can cure poison wounds without antivenins. He does this with his own magic. He can eradicate poison within the body. He only keeps all these potions and cure charms around in case he runs out of magic. Poison is child's play with him. He's been titled one of the legendary 7 Medics. (Why Axel calls him "Plus-Dono") Don't think all hope is lost, and I refuse to put my hands on you, he said continuing his walk to Plus' door, dragging the girl behind him.
