She nodded. "Hm, I know what you mean." She said and smiled slightly, thinking about her home in France.
She then sat back and looked to the sky. She took a deep breath.

A gentle breeze picked up. Her fiery red hair played in the breeze like waves of blood flowed down in a river. "I have not figured my way around yet..... and it would be lovely if you would show me where I could find some clothing......... that would help me fit in a bit more?"

Satoharu walk's in and looks around. It had been quite some time since she last visted the shrine.
"Shagatsu-san are you here? I have missed you my friend."

"Satoharu! It is a great pleasure to see you here again! Welcome back!" Shagatsu said with a large smile and a bow.

"There is a place you can get clothes in town, but they are very expensive. Most of us can't afford them on our own. Usually our okiya or dana buy them for us." she said smiling. She jumped at the sound of Satoharu then Shagatsu. She turned to face them. "Shagatsu-san! I did not realize you were here! How have you been?" Sh gave a big smile at the sight of an old friend.

Her crimsoned lips parted to speak but quickly closed for Ariku's attention has been stolen by the newly acknowledged man that she called Shagatsu. Her darting gaze glided over to the new center of the conversation and attention. She paused, silently judging.
Shagatsu is the name of the shrine... is this shrine for him? no... he's no god... or dead for that matter... Maybe it's HIS shrine? For what purpose would a man name a shrine after himself... and so on her thought trailed off as a puzzled expresion drew upon her angelic features.

She looked from Shagatsu to Josophine.
"Oh, I'm so sorry. That was rude of me. What were you about to say?" she asked giving Josophine her full attention.

She giggled with a perfect musical sound "Be careful... now you are being rude to your friend by me stealing your attention back." With a friendly, gentle, nod Josophine acknowledged the man before having her gaze once again turn to Ariku. "I was just wondering if you could find time in your, most likely, busy schedule to show me and assist me to find something suitable to wear around these parts." Her voice was so musical and perfect it sounded so sweet and soft. There was not a single hint of hostility in it. Only serenity.

She smiled and thought a moment.
"I might have an old kimono you could use at the okiya. Which Okiya do you belong to?" she asked politely.

She paused for a moment as tried to think of a way to verbalize her situation. Her brow drew together as her blue eyes looked up to Ariku. "I do not belong to an Okiya... I came here as a patron, to experiance the culture and such... Although I am not from here I am very much interested in business. So I am considering opening up my own Okiya...for personal profit." A slight smile traced on her lushes lips as she fantasized for a split second on having the wonderful experiance of running an Okiya. "but this is just a thought my friend... don't look too far in to it."
There was a pause in the conversation. The original topic has been strayed off of and this branch seems to be dry. "... back to the kimono though... I have read that a kimono can represent who you are in this society...thus creating an identity and individuality for yourself. Is there a chance you could find me a a place to shop with a large variety?"

Ariku thought a moment, she had never heard of someone owning an okiya that wasn't a geisha herself at one point. But she shook it off the Josophine asked her question.
"Umm, I am sure the place you are looking for is right here in town. You have been right? You have to go through to get here. You just follow the road straight down and you hit the town. There are plenty of kimono shops down there." she said with a smile.

Josophine nodded in appreciation. "Thank you very much. I am going to go ahead and head out now.. I'm sure we'll meet again"
With that she began to gracefully walk away, her curvy hips swaying as she walked.

"Hmm I wonder who that was..." Shagatsu said idly. He washed his hands in the river and returned to the shrine to cook some food for the night.

Ariku sat on the rocks near the waterfall. This was her favourite spot in the whole shrine.
She opened her eyes at a sound. She looked over and smiled. Her free golden hair falling into her face. She had not yet had her hair redone. She smiled when she saw Shagatsu.
She stood up and yelled "Konbanwa Shagatsu-san!" she walked over to him and bowed slightly. "It's been so long my friend. How have you been?" she said as she pushed her hair away from her glistening brown eyes.
