"We are the culmination of every choice we have ever made..."At Luo's sigh, Kaizen hung his head, sure that the man was about to tell him he was being foolish, but as the man began to speak Kai lifted his head, blinking in surprise as he stared at the mess of black hair hiding Luo's face from view. With a smile that nearly split his face, Kaizen nodded fervently as Luo gave him instructions to get medication before they left. After Luo finished, Kaizen bowed deeply before saying with barely contained excitement, "Don't worry Luo-Sama, I'll be fit as a fiddle in no time! After all, how could I call myself a shinobi of the Mist if I let a little bug beat me! I'll go to the hospital right now!"Turning on his heel, four quick strides brought Kaizen to the door opposite Luo's desk. Lifting a hand to the doorknob he stopped as a thought occurred to him. Turning towards Luo, Kai lifted an eyebrow before asking, "Luo-Sama, when are we leaving, anyway?""... but sometimes, the right choice isn't always clear."

((Sorry for my AWAL. My girlfriend drove down and surprised me, so I haven't been home much. I'll be able to begin training with Masaki a week from yesterday.))
Gage was escorted out by the ANBU shinobi out of the office and onto the streets. He followed the little boy around, keeping him I'm his sight, but not getting to close. The boy reminded Gage of the Iwa Spirit that had children the boy's age skipping and dancing with excitement. 'This will be fun...' He thought as he followed the boy through the streets of Kiri, with the mist beginning to clear.

So just as his sensei had allowed him continuously to perform his duty as a shinobi while under the weather, he saw no reason to prohibit Kaizen from doing the same. If he felt he could, then he could, no if and or buts about it.
Nodding towards Kaizen as he stated he wouldn't let a little bug beat him, the thought he just had brought up an interesting point to him as he pondered on the notion of buying a breathing mask for Kaizen to wear, at least to mask his face on the off chance that he does indeed have yet another pain attack. As his door opened, he heard Kaizen again propose a question to him. "Well, I'm sending a courier hawk their way today so if we leave in a day or two we should reach there three days after the hawk does as I intended. Why do you ask?"

This dangerous duo was on their way to visit the Mizukage. Having graduated from the Academy, Koga figured one of the first things to do would be meeting the Mizukage who he'd be serving directly under. "After we meet with the Mizukage, let's go train? Alright Inuyasha?" questioned Koga as he rubbed the top of his partner's head. Letting out a loud bark, Koga smiled before continuing up the stairs to the Mizukage's office. Before completely reaching the door Koga could hear another voice besides what he thought of as the Mizukage's. Knocking lightly on the door twice, he turned the knob gently before pushing in slowly. "Excuse Lord Ushio? I know this is sudden and it may not be my place to ask, but is it possible that I be assigned to a squad?" questioned Koga bowing his head lightly.

"We are the culmination of every choice we have ever made...""Well I just wanted to make sure I had enough time to go see old man Demascus, and let him know I had recovered... more or less," Kaizen said with a chuckle as scratched the back of his head with the hand not holding the doorknob, "pluuuuus, I still have some jutsu to learn before we head out." Turning back towards the door to leave, Kaizen blinked at the sound of a knock on the door before the doorknob began to turn in his hand. As a young man opened the door and asked to be placed in a squad without so much as an introduction Kaizen shook his head. Genin these days, absolutely no manners.
Tapping the kid on the shoulder, Kaizen frowned as he said simply, "I don't know what they're teaching you kids in the academy these days, but we don't enter the Mizukage's office without being invited in. Would you like to step outside and try again, and maybe you can introduce yourself when you enter this time..." Kaizen's pupil-less stare was stern, brooking no argument."... but sometimes, the right choice isn't always clear."

The knock was a new one according to his long list of memorized people by the sound of it, however it sounded as if it was meant to be polite. It was then that a genin peeked his head in and spoke as he entered slowly. There was one thing that was known about the young kage, and that was the fact that he was very keen on manners. It was often stated albeit maliciously in the papers, that despite his title as Mizukage Luo still had the habit of humbling himself before those older than him, including even everyday villagers he saw. He was criticized for bowing to people who clearly ranked lower than him in political affairs, critics stating as the Mizukage he should hold his head up high above the people as a leader would. However, when interviewed about the situation Luo was adept enough to put the matter to shame. He didn't believe himself above other people, to separate yourself from them is to become disconnected with the very people he served to protect. It didn't make sense to him to throw away a simple show of manners taught to every child just because he was all of a sudden the leader of the village. He respected his elders no matter who they were, and for his age he saw no problem in continuing to do so. He only asked that those younger than him gave him the same respect he put forth everyday.
So when Koga knocked and came in and began to speak, he wasn't surprised that Kaizen spoke almost immediately. After all, he and Yamatano in their younger years were two of the worst perpetrators of entering before asked to or without permission. Heck, not five minutes ago did Kaizen use Luo's window to get in! By the looks of it Luo could tell that Koga meant no ill-will by entering so suddenly, it was probably excitement that caused him to be unable to wait outside the door. Luo had read over the list of graduation academy students this semester and sent all of them a personal hand-written letter to congratulate them on their success. He asked all of them to visit him when they could to introduce themselves, as well as get any questions they wanted answered out of the way. When Luo saw Koga's last name on the roster, he was surprised to see an Inazuka. It had been quite a while since an Inazuka lived in Kiri, much less went to the academy there. Every other member they had was a jounin, and that was five of them. It was no wonder Luo wanted to say hello to the boy, a boy who's tracking skill was unparalleled by any other clan.
Smiling at the boy warmly and glancing at the dog who seemed to be not more than one year old, Luo spoke at last after holding his left hand up as if to cease something. "It's quite alright Kaizen, I'll allow it this time. After all if I remember correctly it wasn't too long ago that someone entered my office through the window." His smile was fascinating, able to portray the light sarcasm in his voice without deterring from being welcoming enough for the boy who had just entered. "When you see Mr. Damascus do tell him I said hello. Oh, and what jutsu are you planning on learning before we leave?" At that moment, Luo motioned for Koga and his pup to sit muttering, "Please" as his right hand stretched out to lead them towards the two silver seating pillows in front of his bamboo desk. He wanted to have a chat with the boy instead of simply assigning him a squad and sending him out. It could clearly be said that Luo took great pride in knowing all of his shinobi personally, a true people's kage.

Just as Koga was going to apologize and leave the room, the Mizukage had spoken up defending him. Following the Mizukage's hand, Koga went over before taking a seat on the pillow. Inuyasha looked down at the pillow as if questioning whether or not he could sit on the pillow, yet decided against it and laid down besides Koga. For now, he would simply sit quiet as he was not sure of whether or not the male would try and yell at him again.

 At the window sill of the Mizukage tower, there would be a menacing looking crow. Jet black feathered bird with a crimson red eyes leering inside of the office. Utilizing the movement of the bird bouncing from side to side to arise the attention of the man the sealed letter was to go to.

At that moment, Luo noticed the shadow of a bird landing on the sill behind him. At first he payed no mind to the bird, seeing as how it wasn't uncommon for them to land there. However, the bird seemed to be persisting at something, or trying to get his attention.
A few minutes had passed and still, Luo watched from the corner of his eyes the shadow of a bird dancing back and forth on the sill behind Luo. What was even stranger, was that the bird was facing Luo's office instead of the village itself. Exhaling briefly, the young kage at last turned his head to see just what it was. Staring back at him, were the red eyes of a crow with a parcel around its neck. The bird at first made Luo uneasy, after all his clan knew well the genjutsu abilities of the Uchiha clan, and crows with the eyes of their clan members were often used under the guise of such ploys. However, the crow bore no resemblance to such eyes, and it seemed someone was attempting to get into contact with him. "You'd think whoever this was would've taught their birds how to tap on the window" he thought to himself as he let the animal in, expecting it to land on his desk. He was curious as to who sent the animal as he'd never seen this particular courier bird before. What else piqued his interest, were the contents of the scroll around his neck.
Unlatching the scroll carefully to avoid agitating the animal, he placed it on his desk and opened it to peruse while he spoke with Koga. He assumed the bird wasn't done, expecting some sort of response back from the man before it returned from whence it came. The question was, exactly where did he come from?

Lowering his hand as Luo asked Kai to give Sares Demascus his regards and asked about his training, the young chuunin nodded as he said simply, "I've still got some scrolls for Katon techniques that I need to learn, so I'll tell old man Demascus hello for you after I'm done." Not wanting to intrude on Luo while he interviewed the new academy graduate, Kai opened the door and quickly slipped out of the room, only half surprised to find Aikou sitting outside the door, a curious look in his too-intelligent eyes as he stared up at Kaizen. With a smile, Kaizen scratched the top of his companions head before beginning his descent down the tower and towards the village training center."... but sometimes, the right choice isn't always clear." The Mizukage had nothing to worry about. This was not the work of the Uchiha's, despite the menacing crow coming from the very Country they were birthed from. It was rather one of the new messenger birds Zin had... altered a little. Should Luo even care to look, the crow seemed a little bigger than usual for it's species. The red eyes definitely is not a usual trait, nor are the jet black claws that seem just a little longer than they need be; gotta love genetic alterations! Upon being let into the office, with a loud caw, the avian creature flapped itself up and onto the desk where there lay the least amount of documents.It wished not to bother the documents for if it was upon this man's desk, they more than likely were important. As the crow waited when the scroll was removed from its thick neck, it blinked only once and began to stare at the Mizukage almost intensely with those red eyes. As if observing him... even if a tad bit eerily: Quote: Dear Lord Luo, This is the village of Konohagakure. We have a problem that needs to be addressed as the events that has harmed our village could lead to our countries becoming hostile; something, we hope it will not come to. Earlier, a man claiming not only to be a cousin from your Clan, but also a shinobi of your village has made severe transgressions before our village gates. He made accusations of war stating that it was you that deployed him to do these actions, and cut down our men without any provocation other than to create chaos. With our history together, we feel that these accusations are hopefully quite false. Here is the sketch of the man who attacked us. By the time you receive this letter, we hope to have the man apprehended and interrogated. The current Hokage also wishes to state, that any shinobi bearing the name of Konoha, attacks your village from the moment this letter touches your hands, is an imposter. We have no reasons to attack, have called no order to attack, and we wish to keep the peace we have done for many years. We await your reply very soon. Almost a bit apprehensive as to what he might do upon seeing the information; specifically, if the accusations from the man at the gates was true.

LT walked up the long stair case slowly with his gloved hands plunged deep into his pockets as he headed for the office the Mizukage, he lost Zdura some way on the way over here from the gate, but that was a small matter, Tares had a report to fill out and give to the Mizukage.
Tares approached the office door and as he raised one hand to knock, it suddenly impacted him how long he was really gone for, he could feel his facial hair unkept under his kakashi like mask. He had been gone for weeks for all he knew, the days and nights are hard to distinguished in the rainforest of the water country. Besides that facial hair, Tares wondered at what other duties that he was neglecting at. He let his dirty fingers feel the heavy texture of the door before he continued with his knock and waiting for a reply.

Its in the nature of my clan to become ninja. Not to mention, one day I'm going to be the Mizukage." spoke Koga rubbing the back of his head nervously. Hopefully the Mizukage would not take that as a small threat to his position of power within the village. When a knock resounded through the room, both Koga and Inuyasha turned their heads slightly to look at the door as if waiting for the person to enter like he had earlier.
